So hungover this morning I accidently wore two different shoes (1 Viewer)

I totally get where you're coming from Curly and it's a good place. You are a better person than I am because after months, probably years of help, I would expect even a slight bit of respect and appreciation given back. There's none of that with him. So many people have tried to help him and he forever ####s on any advice. Name one thing he has done from advice in this thread. Sorry, you don't create a thread designed to ask for advice on a regular basis and take none of it without it being shtick.

Actually he has thanked us several times in here, me and EG at least and said he appreciates it. He needs to be ready to make changes. He may never be ready. My now dead uncle was never ready to deal with his major depression and alcoholism. The rest of the fam are in this should have phase whereas I'm not. Where were they when he was at his worst. Yes it wasn't fun for any of us to be sworn at, I was called a slut, and everything horrible you'd never say to the ones you love was said to all of us. They shut him out for awhile whereas I stayed with him. Now he's gone and I'm the only one with a clear mind where while I couldn't get him to turn his life around, at least I was always there while others couldn't handle it.

And this is his thread just like my blog on another board is my blog/thread. We can post what we want in our own threads. If him asking for advice over and over either repeating or something new is a bother, then why on earth do you even open his thread? I don't get it. If this thread is a headache then why open it. Just to call out schtick or keep saying the same thing to me and others who choose to stay with him? I don't understand..

 
This thread is not a headache, in fact it's very entertaining. I wish you nothing but the best Curly but I'll ask again. What advice has he taken? We'll agree to disagree on whether at least some of it is shtick. He does have problems and part of it is his enjoyment of stringing people along.

He has taken none which is fine by me. I put it out there for him if he likes or maybe there is someone else in here anonymously lurking who can use some tips. I have gotten some thanks pms which is nice.

Thanks. There is a clause in my lease about not charging for ESAs unless they damage something. I just can't find any solid info if I can get a letter online from a legit doctor.

You can't. No real doctor is going to say you have a condition without ever seeing you. That is just plain unethical. They can lose their license. The only way is to see a psychiatrist to get that letter from a legit doc..

Well, I think it is.  Maybe I'm a bit jaded with his crap though.  You seem to be a wonderful person that cares about others.  I mostly think it's a bad deal for someone like you to get invested in what appears to be a person that needs help, only that person is actually just some performance art.  Not like I hate stories; I mean everyone loved that camping story with Steve, and spend your time on this board how you like, but this is just a con imo.

 
Anybody else think it's ironic that RnR's excuse for his drinking, drugs, irresponsible behavior, mood swings is that he's lonely and everything would be different if he could just find a good woman and some #####, and instead he settles for some putty-cats?

lots of wrong in this post.  You don’t need a psychiatrist to get an ESA or to show a disability for the purposes of fair housing.  Lot of licensed therapists will do it with a phone interview or even a questionnaire

I didn't look, but I do a lot of fair housing stuff.   bigbottom sent you the link to the federal guidelines.  for a non-obvious disability, they can request proof from a health care professional of the need for the accommodation.  that's it.   these sites that register comfort animals generally either have you fill out a form or do a phone call and then someone with an MFT or something similar certifies it.  

the claim that you need to be diagnosed by a licensed psychiatrist or that nobody qualified to support an ESA would be so unethical as to do this is utter nonsense.   It's become a huge problem in the industry.

What's an MFT?

 
Had a date yesterday with a girl I've been chatting with a few weeks. We went to a lake to feed the Grebes then out to a late lunch for some burgers and a few pints of shiner. Everything went well and some kissing and heavy petting ensued.

While driving her home I missed the turn on to her street so I had to make a left at the next block. As I did I swerved to avoid hitting a kitten in the middle of the road. Something was clearly wrong as it just sat there staring blankly and making no attempt to get away. I immediately wrapped it up in my shirt and drove with her to the nearest animal clinic.

This kitten was in bad shape. It's eyes and nose were leaking fluids and it was no more than a few weeks old and severely malnourished and dehydrated. I tried to give it some water in a bottle cap but it wouldn't drink and appeared dazed. No way this kitten would make it through another night especially with how chilly it was last night and today.

The I held and comforted it until we could see the vet. It had an upper respiratory infection and needed nutrients and fluids but otherwise not as bad as we thought . The vet gave her a shot of antibiotics and didn't even charge us.

Shebsent me some pics today and the kitten looks world better. Infection is going away and she's eating and drinking and playing. She will be fit as a fiddle in a couple of weeks I'm sure.

When I dropped her off with her new kitten she told me that she loves guys that care about animals and left me with a big smooch.

Ive demonstrated my value.

Next I will engage physically.

Best day I've had in a long time.

Only way the date could have ended better for me is if we drove past a burning orphanage and I ran in to save all the children.

Now she has a cute kitten that will forever  remind her of me. Not predicting too much of a minefield from here.

Normally I'd agree, but you seem to have a way of creating obstacles if none exist. I'd love to try to help you avoid that. If I'm not needed, that much the better.

Hell yeah im attracted to her. 21, 5'4"", 110 pounds with a perfect caboose and she's a tomboy that you can hang out with like one of the guys. The perfect package.
