Smells like chicken
He better be the second coming of troy p or sean taylor if he plays saftey and they take him at 3
I've seen this plastered all over twitter as well, but is it really based off info from the Chargers? Most of the tweets I read say something like "a handful of GMs have Stanley ranked above Tunsil, per source" and then speculate that the Bolts could be one. SD has been pretty tight-lipped concerning info about 1.03.Lookin like Stanley :S
Or what?He better be the second coming of troy p or sean taylor if he plays saftey and they take him at 3
That would suck...Stanley more like a 1.15 pick not a 1.3.If Twitter is right, the fan base will be livid. Taking Stanley at #3 is horrible.
What would they gain from this? No one is trading ahead of them. That would suck...Stanley more like a 1.15 pick not a 1.3.
Take Ramsey off the board there and trade him if you don't want him....lots of teams think Chargers bluffing and they all want Ramsey.
If Ramsey isn't #3 pick whoever is making decisions needs to be fired. Huge no brainer to take him. That would suck...Stanley more like a 1.15 pick not a 1.3.

Yeah?If Ramsey isn't #3 pick whoever is making decisions needs to be fired. Huge no brainer to take him.
Disagree 100%. So it is not a "huge nobrainer."If Ramsey isn't #3 pick whoever is making decisions needs to be fired. Huge no brainer to take him.
Yeah, I don't know how they don't move down. Throw out the trade chart, "lose" the trade, just trade down and accumulate more picks. Really, they should be able to move down multiple times. Look at these two tiers as an example; They need to trade down as many times as they can. This team isn't getting fixed by anyone they pick at 3.
At this point maybe we should temper expectations. As long as he doesn't trade up for an ILB...... "another strong off season!".Re: Stanley. I was listening to the SD sports talk station this morning and the drive time DJ said he'd heard from Telesco that they're looking at either Stanley or Ramsey. If true I have complete faith that Telesco will screw up and take Stanley.
And, to be fair, Stanley is not a bad pick if they trade down to 7 or lower and take him. But at 3, that would be bad.At this point maybe we should temper expectations. As long as he doesn't trade up for an ILB...... "another strong off season!".
At least he would have finally found a 3-down player! On the all-star roster he's assembled that is not an easy feat.... apparently. And, to be fair, Stanley is not a bad pick if they trade down to 7 or lower and take him. But at 3, that would be bad.
Have you ever known FOX news to be wrong?Re: Stanley. I was listening to the SD sports talk station this morning and the drive time DJ said he'd heard from Telesco that they're looking at either Stanley or Ramsey. If true I have complete faith that Telesco will screw up and take Stanley.
Yes, but what happens when other teams laugh at you when you try and trade down?If Twitter is right, the fan base will be livid. Taking Stanley at #3 is horrible.
Depends on if you are trying to get what you SHOULD be able to get, or if you are just accepting the best offer. At some point someone is willing to give a pick to move up and get their guy. I don't believe 31 NFL teams have NO interest in the #3 pick in the draft.Yes, but what happens when other teams laugh at you when you try and trade down?
Looks like no one is biting.
Not that bad, shocking they couldn't trade down though. Very safe pick. High floor. After completely ******** the bed last year they could only go up.Love the pick. Bosa was #1 on most boards all year during the college season.
In passing situations, which is most downs now, he can play DE. They play a hybrid 3-4. Not quite a 3 down player bit closest they have come in two drafts now.Tell me how I'm wrong that I think Bosa is too light to play 3-4 DE and too slow to play 3-4 OLB.
Don't believe he is well suited to play 3-4 OLB, regardless of what Telesco and McCoy say. However, he should be fine at 3-4 DE. For one thing, he is 20 and should add weight over time. For another, his technique is very good, which should help him to overcome being a bit lighter than usual.Tell me how I'm wrong that I think Bosa is too light to play 3-4 DE and too slow to play 3-4 OLB.
IMO:I suspect Jack will be off the board by the time we pick tomorrow - otherwise, who should we take with our high 2nd rounder? Vonn Bell (S) out of OSU? Mike Thomas to take Malcom Floyd's place? Hunter Henry to intern with Gates this year? We've seen how Belichick used 2 pass catching TE's. Jarren Reed to rotate with Mebane and eventually take over?
Nick Martin is a reach, so have to wait until the 3rd round to get our center.
As always, they need to trade down. I don't buy nobody is interested in trading up. If they do have to stay there and draft.... assuming Spence is gone they should take either Whitehair or Nick Martin to help fix that interior line. It ruins the running game. It ruins the passing game. It ruins Rivers health as the season progresses. It's the reason Telesco will eventually be fired.tommyGunZ said:I suspect Jack will be off the board by the time we pick tomorrow - otherwise, who should we take with our high 2nd rounder? idiots, ####### idiots
Henry >>>> GreenAwesome...let Green walk for peanuts and spend pick 35 on TE.
Really? I'd probably have taken Jack, but I haven't seen his medicals, so I can't really complain.idiots, ####### idiots
3 down starter >>>>>>>>> rotational player >>>>>>>>>>> pure backupHenry >>>> Green
You mean like the one they have refused to run for the past four seasons, even when the WR's were decimated with injuries? Not only does this provide insurance for Gates in his last season, but if both are healthy they can run those 2 TE sets like NE did with Gronk and Hernandez and make defenses pick their poison.
Green sucked. It's great that he can run fast for a guy his size, but he never established himself and he had PLENTY of opportunities. You mean like the one they have refused to run for the past four seasons, even when the WR's were decimated with injuries?
If Green "sucked", then what's your adjective for Watt?Green sucked. It's great that he can run fast for a guy his size, but he never established himself and he had PLENTY of opportunities.
