Songs you know are bad, but damn are they good. (1 Viewer)

I've realized with today's new music, it's not about being good, it's about being catchy.  Here are two such examples of songs that were wretched when I first heard them but now I look forward to listening to them.

Drake - God's Plan

Lizzo - Truth Hurts

Bonus points for the NFL references in both songs.  High five to the first FFAer to name them.

What songs do you know are horrible but damn, they're oh so good?

New man on the Minnesota Vikings

Why is this song charting now when it was released 2 years ago?  I don't get it... but its stuck in my head

Lizzos awesome. Loved that tune first time I heard it, along with just about everything else I've heard from her. So gonna dispute that one.

Saturday in the Park is derided...I think... But I love it. Of course now I'll hear it's universally adored.

Butterfly gets some hate but...no..still hateful.

Eta... I thought Timberlake's can't stop the feeling was cynically ripped off from a ton of pop tunes whcih made me hate it at first. And second and third. But dammit it does it so well.

And isn't schlocky catchiness the hallmark of pop music going back to the beginning of time? Not exactly new to recent years...
