The popular understanding of the Southern Man "feud" is largely based on misunderstanding and manufactured drama. DBT addressed this somewhat in "Ronnie and Neil" from their epic 2001 opus Southern Rock Opera. I love Neil's music but as between these two songs give me Skynard all day long.
