One other thought...I have only done one of these (and happened to win my division), but when drafting against FBGs, I tend to shy away from the rankings/board thought. I am a FBG fan boy like the rest of us, but I end up looking at some random sites for different insight. I can easily sift through the crap, but am intrigued by a couple of different thoughts, that I think we, as a group, fail to embrace due to our collective beliefs.

For example, when we were drafting there was a mock draft out there where some guy took Monte Ball in the 2nd round. He got ripped (of course) and began defending his point. At the time, it did not justify such a high pick, but I think it was a strong enough argument to put him on the radar for at least the 5th round. He went in the 9th in ours, and I took the safe route (and maybe dumb one) by locking up the ATL RBs with a pick of Quiz a few picks ahead. My point is that since the draft, he has been rising up the boards and really, "we" should have projected better. FBG and the people here have won me many leagues, but it is a little comical when we draft together and rarely stray from our own devised group think.
For every one of these reaches that pans out, there are nine that don't. You can't justify taking a guy in the 2nd who will 95% likely be there in the 4th. Against skilled drafters you are giving them too big of an advantage.

Totally agree...my point was not that he should have selected there, but that the fact he felt comfortable selecting him there (I can't remember which board he represented, but the Ball support was greater than it was here at that time). He/they were a little ahead of the curve than us. I was lucky to be part of Interboard Challenge last year and it was interesting to see how some boards had their favorites which were different than "ours".

No way I make it far with that thin a WR core. Crabs out all year basically and Gordon out the first two weeks. Holmes looking iffy. Should be fun watching Dez and DHB hold things down, lol...

The loss of Harvin and Lloyd remaining unsigned definitely shows. This just might end up being the first time I've ever been bounced in the first week in a Survivor. :(

Bell, Le'Veon PIT RB (D) - 5 Dwyer, Jonathan PIT RB - 5 Harris, DuJuan GBP RB (I) - 4 Redman, Isaac PIT RB (P) - 5 Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB - 4 Ugh. Harris and Bell both down. I may be a challenge for the toilet bowl title this year, sinr.

I bumped up too...from 14 to 7.

So far, I have lost Flynn as a starting QB (Have Vick and Geno), and Bogotay the kicker (lol). I also was compelled to draft Travis Kelce...was there some hype surrounding him back when we drafted? I don't think he would make my team in a mandatory start 2TE league.
