STAR WARS: Episode 7 (All-Time #1 opening box office.) (3 Viewers)

Supposedly a teaser trailer coming real soon.
Latest rumor is that it will be attached to Mockingjay Part 1

Here is a description of the teaser

It's going to have The Force Theme played on woodwinds, softly, over flashing images of the main leads, each fading to black. There's no dialogue, just reveals of the characters. And then the music swells up into a full orchestral piece -- perhaps what John Williams recorded this weekend? -- and we hear a female voice, likely Daisy Ridley's, saying "Wake up."

And then the title card appears -- Star Wars: The Force Awakens -- and we see the Millennium Falcon, firing blasters, coming right at the camera.

Yeah not sure that is where I would promote it. Does Marvel not have a film coming out to do it with? Comic book nerds would definitely get it.

I thought the first full trailer would come out with Avengers next summer. I did not expect the teaser so early though.

And it is just rumored to be attached to Mockingjay. Who knows if it is true.

You put a full length trailer with Avengers and then you have some marketing momentum.

UPDATE!

over at Making Star Wars have stated that they have received a tip from an informant that the trailer will have a little more content than a few new faces.

Fade in from black, shots of the dunes, Boyega pops in to the shot from below. Hes wearing white Stormtrooper armor but he doesnt have a helmet on.

In the teaser we only see Boyega and Ridley really.

Ridley boards a speeder.

She has a helmet on like Endor Leia, a design with pop-down goggles.

A shot of Ridleys speeder approaching the station (the TMZ set we saw).

We see the new Stormtroopers on a transport. The flight is turbulent.

New X-wings.

TIE Fighters.

The new Soccer Ball Droid

The new Sith is also revealed. He has a cross-beam lightsaber and the beam flickers strangely.

The Falcon.

Another rumor is it may be released on an ABC (Disney owned) show. Maybe Shield?

I just jizzed my pants.

The Falcon is still functioning? It was a beat up piece of (fast) garbage in the first one. It took a beating in the next two movies. And we are decades later at this point, right? How long do these ships work at top capacity enough to be in a shootout?

Unless Solo drives it now like an old guy with a Buick, in which case this would make total sense because he should be in a shuttle and not anything big enough to cause damage.

I am hoping they build in a joke about the Falcon being so beat up that a door falls off in a scene (I think this is how Ford got hurt during filming :) )

Solo leaves the left turn blinker on for 75,000 miles?

Or a couple of parsecs.

Latino Review also shared what they know on the subject:

People in Europe have also been secretly shown the minute-long Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser.

Im very happy to tell you that our new villain, the cyborg or Inquisitor depending on when you jumped off the rumor mill, is totally in the teaser.

Hes masked (no identity spoilers yet!) and the final design of the mask looks somewhere in between the red-colored Imperial Guards from Return of the Jedi and Darth Revan from Knights of the Old Republic.

Sorry. I was wondering if it would fool anyone, but Worm put a spike through that pretty quickly.

 At being called out immediately EG. I seen that a couple days ago though, so I knew. Wouldn't have believed it though, but damn good for a fanboy.

Can't wait to see/hear responses to the REAL trailer when it comes out this Friday.

Might shut down the internet.

The thing I immediately gravitate to is that this looks like an actual film and not a digital video game like the prequels. The tiny amount of emotion in those characters already blows away the cardboard cutouts that were Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman.

I'm in.

The first guy and girl looked like they were trying too hard. Making that "I need to look serious but I don't know how so I'll look constipated instead" face. Everything after that was :moneybag: .
