Know how to enjoy a new Star Wars movie the way you did when you were a kid? STOP ####### NIT-PICKING EVERYTHING AND JUST ENJOY THE ####### MOVIE.
This x 100000000000000000000000000000000
It's hard to do after being an adult and your mind is polluted and cynical. Best thing to do is take a kid with you and watch and enjoy his excitement.

Yeah, this too. My kid will be the same age I was when I saw Empire Strikes Back in the theatre, so it might be fun to take him.

Just realized (thru the Sony leaks) that Ep 8 and 9 will not be directed by Abrams...little disappointing.

RUMOR: The off-year Star Wars spinoff may have Bobba Fett

According to iKwiz’s source, however, the potential future for Boba Fett is possibly a lot more complicated than you'd imagine. The rumor says that Disney has larger plans to include Boba Fett in more films, and adds that a plan has been figured out that would allow the character to stick around for years and years to come. If the report can be believed, the franchise may move forward with the name Boba Fett being a "mantle" that can be passed down to different generations, along with the signature Mandalorian armor and the badass spaceship known as Slave I. The idea behind this is that the studio recognizes the intergalactic bounty hunter's popularity and wants to find a way to keep the masses happy.
Right now, I'd make sure you have a lot of salt and not a grain or two, but...

Seems to make sense as a way to keep a popular character in the series.

Is anyone watching rebels?

I would bet a lot of money Ezra is the new bad guy. Way too many clues in the last episode.
Such as? I have been largely following along. Which ep are you referring to?
his quirky lightsaber. The constant references to controlling your anger. Ezra actually losing his control and becoming powerful. It was the episode where the inquister chased them to the asteroid. The ones that followed have me convinced now that Ezra is the bad guy in the trailer.

The Dread Pirate Boba Fett?

Pet peeve....

"Disney has larger plans..."

It's actually "Lucasfilm has larger plans..."

Sure, Lucasfilm is owned by Disney but Lucasfilm is in charge of the Star Wars universe, hiring the writers, directors, etc.

No one says "Disney has plans for Avengers 3...” or "Disney is working on Finding Dory”, they say Marvel and Pixar, respectively.

Sorry, probably only matters to me...

Rian Johnson directing episode 8 is a great idea.
Why? I haven't seen much of his work but Looper was pretty mediocre.
I vehemently disagree about Looper. Also, the episodes of Breaking Bad were some of the best shot episodes of the series. Some hate the Fly episode, but I think it was actually great and very well shot.
You can be as vehement as you like but Looper was mediocre and the majority agrees with me.

Those episodes of BB were awesome, I like the fly episode too, but he didn't write those he did write Looper and is on board as the screenplay writer of both Episode VIII & IX.

There is a big difference between being able to render a concept beautifully and being able to create a beautiful concept. For the sake of argument I will grant him the former but I cannot concede the latter.
