STAR WARS: Episode 7 (All-Time #1 opening box office.) (2 Viewers)

This movie is going to absolutely shatter Avatars record. I would say invest heavily in Disney but I think the market is already ahead of this one.

Maybe having a star wars movie a year will be overkill but somehow I doubt it.

The special effects look great, but the ad is missing that sense of joyful fun that was prevalent in the first 3 films (well, really the first two) and sadly missing in the newer 3. Hopefully the film itself will have it, because the ad looked as dark as that last Star Trek film, which also had very little joy in it.

No Luke again. We see Leia and shocked looks on Hans face and tears from Leia. They are keeping Luke well under wraps.

That was fun!

So it looks like the general rumor of Finn crashing on Tatooine, meeting Rey and then they hook up with Han and Chewy to go on an adventure seems to follow from this trailer.

I don't know if there is a previous relationship between Han and Rey or not. No real hints of that in the trailer.

I've always had issues how something as important as The Force is so quickly forgotten.
That appears to be a big difference between the extended universe and this story. In the EU, Luke promotes the force and jedi. IN this movie, at least from the general appearance and rumors, is that he has gone away.

With no one who can actually use the force to teach others, perhaps it is something that can move into myth pretty quickly.

Let my 9 year old stay up late to watch the trailer with me. Pretty cool experience. She is excited and I can't wait to go watch it with her.

I am still sticking to the idea that Luke will not appear much in this movie (maybe towards the end) and that Han will die at the end and the Luke will become an important character in the next two movies.

My daughter is dying to go to the midnight show.

Tomorrow she is going to ask every teacher what they have planned for that Friday to see if she can go.

I must have missed all the "joyful fun" in Empire Strikes Back.
