Steeler fans (1 Viewer)

LOLWell, let's see, we could try, "Our RB didn't play" or "Our DB got hurt" or "you had more time to prepare for the game" or "if our WR hadn't fallen down on that interception"....Oh, wait, those excuses have already been used by some loser team.
just curious-how many AFC championship games do the steelers have to lose before they are considered choke artists????
If you lose to a better team, you haven't choked. In order to be a choke artist, you have to lose to an inferior team. Are you admitting that the 2001 Patriots were inferior to the Steelers? What a guy!

Tip: Never get into a battle of wits when you're unarmed.

:goodposting: This just in: The best team is SUPPOSED to win the game. This is Mr. Obvious reporting in. Back to you.

three more hours and all these happy steeler fans will start crying!!!

Cannot make that many mistakes in a playoff game. And we surely are not a come from behind team. Where was Polumalu today??? I didnt hear his name called one time, other than making the bad read on the Branch long TD. I still dont get why we dont go for it on 4th and goal from the 2. If we dont get it, they are pinned at the goalline, if we do, we are down 7. I know this game certainly did not come down solely to that decision, but that was the moment I was sure the game was over. :stillers:

Good year for the :stillers: especially considering that most thought the :stillers: would wind up around .500 and no better than 2nd in the AFC North. I hate seeing them lose another big game, but I'd rather have to endure that than what happened last year.:stillers:

The rats come scurrying, don't they?Your team has gone 30-66 since coming back to that dump of a town. Talk to me when you get a real team.

my thoughts exactly. This season was more than I ever expected. Even with the recent struggles of BRoth I think he will continue to develop and become one of the league's best QB's. Go Steelers in '05! :stillers: :stillers: :stillers: :stillers: :stillers:

:whew:I'm glad all these :stillers: smilies can go away for awhile..
We never go away. :stillers: :P
we dont die, we multiply.
:rotflmao: Seriously, you guys had a great season. Even though I've always hated the steelers, I couldn't help pulling for them this postseason. Bettis is just a horse. Amazing performance this season considering at what point he is in his career. That D was steller all year. Although I thought the Rothisberger for MVP talk was pretty funny, he is only a rookie and showed poise, and ability all year long that most young QBs take a while to develop. If I were a Steelers fan, I'd be feeling pretty good about my team for the next couple of years. So, one :stillers: for props on a great season from a life-long Browns fan. Just don't expect that again! ;)

From another Browns fan I can say screw that. I want the Steelers to lose every time and I'd expect nothing less from them in return.

You can trash any of the Steelers players but please don't bad mouth Polamalu. The lift he has provided for this defense this year is downright incredible. He played poorly yesterday but I'll excuse that given the number of games he has saved for the team (see Jets last week). He's a trooper, a class act, and a guy that I wouldn't trade for any other safety (including reed) in the league. I think one thing all steelers fans can agree on is that if it weren't for polamalu, this team may not even be a playoff team let alone fighting for a superbowl bid.

I love the kid, but it seems like he, and most of the D didnt show up until the second half yesterday. Aaron Smith's brain fart hurt as bad as the long Branch TD IMO.Still, :stillers:

 I know.. I know.. Believe me the Browns fan in me laughed my ### off at the trashing they took yesterday and Cowher's problems at getting a ring... But the FOOTBALL fan in me had to admire the season they had.

Thats pretty cool. Other than Browns fans, no fans were more upset at Modell than Steelers fans. The team we really loved to hate moved to Baltimore. But I still brain-washed my son (born in 1996) to hate the Browns above all other teams. Until he was about 5 he would only call them the eww :yucky: Browns. :stillers: :stillers: :stillers: :stillers:

i thought i needed to post this vent somewhere and this thread looks as good a place as any. [honda? sorry if it is]

i was supremely disappointed in the numbers of fans who left the game at halftime. yes, that's right, halftime. we pride ourselves on being some of the best fans in the league but the exodus on sunday night was pitiful. bunches kept leaving when the Pats scored in the 3rd quarter and later when Cowher settled for the field goal--with almost an entire quarter to go.

i have never been so disappointed in our loyalty. it was cold, to be sure, but where are you going at halftime instead of being at the game!?!?

I agree. I hadn't given up hope until the Pats ran it down the field for the sustained drive in the 4th. I didn't mind the decision to kick the FG. But the defense had to come up with a stop, and didn't. The Pats just ran it down our throats. After the Dillon TD is when I gave up.

the 3 bad points that stick out most to me are:INT for a TDAaron Smith holding on the screendecision to kick the FG, when down by 14, with 758 left from the 2 yardline :wall:

Ben definately couldn't make that many mistakes. But the Pats lured him into it. He'll learn. I can't wait for the rematch next year. :excited: The defense is what let me down. You have to make the stop. And can't give up the big play to Branch. Brady schooled Polamalu on that one. Again, we're young.

Typical. This has nothing to do with the Browns. It has to do with your team CHOKING again.
"This has nothing to do with the Browns" Says the guy with the giant Clown orange helmet in his avatar. You guys have been the ##### of the AFC north. And here you are to to dance around with your schaedenfraude. Good showing. and WTF is a hilljack? I'm probably glad I don't know.

It depends on what team you will have next year possible no bus or plax. The bus was huge this year and plax may not have had a great season but I do not know how many teams would not want him. Pitts defence while good is not the ravens of a couple years ago. It all depends on the offence

Agreed, the defense played a lousy game. As you pointed out, the secondary is very young and should get better. As for the Pats luring Ben into throwing picks, maybe on the second two (I'm having a hard time remembering them right now), but the first interception was just a bad throw. Randel El was wide open and had the first down but Ben threw it way too high.

Hey guys....the Stillers lost bad a while ago and the browns are what's on Tom Brady's toilet paper before he flushes.Geeeshh...don't they have electricity in all of PA yet? :hophead:
