Steve Slaton ranking for week 11 (1 Viewer)

Am I missing anything on why Slaton is ranked so low this week? Colts as we know is not that hard to run on, and have actually given up a lot of FP to RBs.

Is there an injury that i'm missing? Is it the Ahman Green effect?

could be the Bob Sanders effect. If you look at the last couple games, the Colts run defense has been very solid.

Right. He makes an enormous difference to their run defense.

Not just that slaton has not run for much yardage in the last two games with Kubiak stating that Slaton looked worn down.

To be fair, though, according to FBG Slaton did have a 58 yd TD called back for holding (WHY GOD? WHY!?) against the Ravens. The ranking makes some sense, but if that one play is valid, the whole game, and Slaton's fortunes, are completely different. I still say Slaton's a decent #2 this week.

Was on a pass play (I know point are points), and does not excuse his lack of overall touches or houstone running the ball below average in attempts and yards. Kubiak is stating that Slaton will be more involved this week.

The Colts claimed a 320 lb DT from the Titans practice squad before the Steelers game, and he made a big difference last week. If Daniel Muir would ever get healthy, they may actually have two 300+ DTs they could rotate in the NT spot, and that may mean a continiuation of the recently better run D.

Have you seen Slaton's stats the last few weeks? He gone in the tank.

The last few weeks? It's just been one bad week. Too early to say he's gone in the tank.

Slaton was shut down by one of the league's best defenses (but was a penalty away from having another nice game). Indy bottled up the Steelers ground game very well last week. I'm not worried about Slaton but I don't think he's in the top 15 this week.
