Yeah, even if you just have 100 shares or something, that could be meaningful if they really click.

Stolen from Twitter and paraphrasing: “If this is the next great growth company, a little is all I need. If it isn’t, a little is all I want.”
Haha very true

BTC broke 27k.....

Was thinking of getting back into HVBTF at close on XMAS eve now it will be at a premium Monday morning along with GBTC
HVBTF mines primarily ete.  As long as current  price levels stay or keep climbing, I'd expect a +35% jump at the bell on the stock.

Even after that jump I still think there is 200-300% potential in the the 6 months.  Currently holding about 20k worth of HVBTF and it's down about 20% since picking up a week or so ago.

I think when the market closed Thursday, the assumption was that Trump would not veto the stimulus.

I read somewhere today that Trump was motivated to sign the bill to give a pre-market boost to the market.

So if there is a positive market reaction in the morning, I think it will be short-lived as traders realize there was no reason to bounce up, since the nonsense really didn't happen until after market close,

This makes me very inclined to sell hard in the morning, since I want to reduce my holdings some more before EOY and tomorrow morning might be the peak for that.

On the other hand, this market defies logic like a president denies science.

I wonder if market volume will tail the lack of action in here?
I added less FUSE then I planned on but wanted some in case it decides now it’s time to run. Sometimes you see these outsized gains in SPACs in premarket and AH, so I’m hoping it calms down a little at least for today so I can buy the rest.

Added more BFT.

Should have got on this crypto train a lot harder a few weeks ago.  @hooter311 you think we will see pullbacks below this level in the near future or better to jump on now?

:jawdrop:

Holy ####. I have 30,000 shares of NEVDF that I bought at .09. Its trading at $1 now, Up about 30K

ETA Fidelity added a zero to both the bid and ask. I'm really up $1.14

Anyone know how to re-cork champagne?

I survived a positively harrowing ride with ETHE. I ended up with WAY too many shares (a truly stupid amount :bag: ), buying several lots last Thurs morning as it plummeted to average cost down. And it kept falling...and falling...putting me in a huge hole - weighed on me all weekend. Plan was to minimize damage and get out if there was any sort of a bump this morning. The crypto gods delivered a holiday miracle and it opened +30%, turning a $10K deficit into a $5K gain, and I got the f out entirely.

Anyone looked into $IMMR? They make the haptics happen in PS5 and get a cut for every console and controller sold yet they haven’t moved that much. Could be a good play into earnings in a couple months.

Their tech is used in cars, wearables, too. I think I’ll dabble a bit tomorrow just to get in and research more.
Position started. Up on nearly 5X volume, might be getting discovered.

CBBT up to .06

I'm up 705%. Wish I had bought more than 10,000 shares. Cost basis is only .00795.

Stocks are funny.

Was there some news on SE? Might have to add some
Not that I've seen.  Far East stocks may just be out of favor at the moment.

This isn't usually for SE and I've made some good coin buying on dips like these.

I missed out on MINDMED as that one ran away from me and far too expensive now.  Seeing how fast it ran up though, does make me interested in neuromedicine (psychadelics) as an investment.

One of the board members from Mindmed, the founder of Canopy Growth, Bruce Linton, is also an Adviser for Red Light Holland, ticker is TRUFF.   Red Light Holland is already selling product in Netherlands.

Former Canada Health Minister, Tony Clement, is also on the team.  They definitely have their sights in making in roads in Canada eventually so a smart guy to have onboard.

I'm in as a flyer.  Not gonna see another one run away and wish I had bought early.

Not stocks, but related to some of the things we've discussed in here. I know at least a few of you are into PMs (@St. Louis Bob). And kind of fun.

My grandfather passed away 1 month to the day after I was born. Most of these belonged to him. Some of them are in rough shape. A few look like someone made an effort to clean them up. Not sure what any of that does to value. I've never spent much time looking at PMs. But kind of cool, regardless.

All of the high growth names are getting pummeled. The only news for SE has been good.
Tencent does own like a quarter of SE, so if it is a China play it could have some bearing. Yeah, a lot of these type of stonks I hold are having a bad day. Zoom has been really beat up recently.

Trailing you on this one for a few thousand shares

Anyone sitting on shares of $WORK?  Have you sold since the acquisition announcement or are you waiting it out for the cash + $CRM shares?

I was considering it, but talked out of it by a lot of the good posters here noting that WORK is still trading at a discount to merger value.
