I have had 20k in cash waiting for a day like today. Do I go all blue chips?
you think today is the "bottom" for this correction?

I'm not so sure a little more doesn't come off. It looks horrible out there. I think things may drop more in the near term. But i agree a buying opportunity is "forming"

Still, Cramer said he was a buyer at Friday's close.

"With interest rates low, commodity inflation nil and the dollar weaker than I thought, I had no choice but to put something to work," he wrote in one of his Real Money columns Friday. "I will be back buying if the market drops another 2% next week."

What a hack. You had a choice but you are an idiot. Another 2% huh? The moron is probably panic selling what he bought on Friday.

Biggest new play for me today, I bought 1600 shares of TVIX pre-market at 12.56 each

I think its going to be pretty volatile...

Is everyone still waiting to buy??
Right now, yes. Worse start that I thought.
BTW

I'm in the same position as you Buddy and looking to do the same.

Let the smart guys here tell us when to go IMO. I'm nearly certain it's not going to be today.

lol Exactly. I normally just put my money into mutual funds. But after 2008 I started socking away cash for something like this. Just not sure when to pull the trigger

Already up to 14.30 - closed Friday at 9.17

crazy
opens at 15.90
Well crap, the order I made last night to buy 700 shares at open- I canceled 7 min. before close and it never ent through (the cancel), so I got another 700 at the open at 15.07, bringing my cost per share to 13.33.

Now selling 12.47. Ugh
