"Pee-Wee As Himself" (MAX)
 I think it's odd that he spent much of the process fighting against not having more control of the project because it turned out so well done.  However, I guess I get why you would want control over how your life story is told. 
I don't know how many people on this message board were around at the height of his popularity, but man, he was on top!  And I remember when his arrest occurred how quickly it crashed.
In this doc I thought he came off as very funny and charming, with a good dose of self-deprecation. 
It was interesting to discover how his original direction was avantgarde art.  I had no idea of his in-depth history with Phil Hartman. 
As I was watching this I thought there really needs to be a first-rate documentary put together on the "The Groundlings".  
I remember his first HBO standup special. It's available to watch on YouTube.  It was almost as big as Sam Kennison when he did his first special.
I did think it was funny when he talked about not coming off as a victim at the time of his arrest, he said, "Therein lies the rub. No pun intended."
