The Top 300 Greatest TV Shows of All Time: FBG Consensus: 50 Lists received. 2: Seinfeld 1: Breaking Bad (7 Viewers)

List updates….
I’d have to give it some thought but The Pitt jumps at least in to my top-20 even after just one season. If it manages to keep this up I could see it moving to top-10.
That's really bold for a single season. If True Detective was just 1 season, I wonder where it would have ranked. What other shows would have benefitted from not having all their seasons actually get made?

I had True Detective on my list and I not only didn't really like s2 much, I didn't even watch the others I don't think. I rated it almost exclusively on s1.

Yeah I had it on my list as well but S2 was weird, S3 was pretty good and S4 I quit on pretty quickly, It's all subjective but it's just an interesting approach to evaluating a show like True Detective where you only liked 1 out of every 4 episodes that have aired. You disliked it so much you gave up on it. I forget where I put True Detective but I think I felt like I had to reward shows that were more consistent and long lasting. But that was the fun of the exercise, so many different ways to look at it.

I've been on a crime-based limited series run. Mare of Easttown and Task were phenomenal (and I learned made by the same guy). Just started The Night Of and it had me hooked immediately.
Hell yeah, nice to see another Task fan. It felt like it should have got more buzz then it did.
