I'm in the awkward position of having Watson but wanting like either 20 points from him or 0 since Scheffler actually did something this week with his 9.4 - If Watson goes off, I'll actually be losing a little ground to most of the other Watson owners.

Now the Minny D - I'd love them to hang up another 20 for me :)

Are you all calculating your own scores? I didn't see the post this week where that guy posts the scorers for guys who have played so far. Did I miss it?
Is it that difficult to calculate your own scores?
We don't all have the assistance of a Higher Power when performing mathmatical operations.

i'm in good shape

and i still have watson, gostkowski and the NEP defense....

Sweatin Bullets here....Sitting at about 92.5. I have Longwell (Hanson is on a bye), Watson -3, Gabriel -7.2 and Maroney -14. My bye week probs are over if I can survive this week.

Hoping for Minnesota to kick about 5 FG's and for Watson, Gabriel and Maroney to OFF!!!

119 plus whatever points from Giants or Jax D.

Still with 4 players to go at different positions tonight at the most -6.

Hello final 3K

I think I'm around 100 points. I'm at work and can't spend lots of time calculating exactly.

Can't someone post the cacadoodie scores? What kind of free contest is this if people don't provide me with timely updates on my progress? :lmao:

I'll gladly post two of the cacadoodie scores: Delhomme 6.5 (with Kitna on bye) Keyshawn 2.9. :hot: -QG

I'm pretty good at math, especially geometry and trigonometry using pie and whatnot...comes in handy when calculating who is offering the best deal.

So how much of a bump can we expect tonight? Two decent defenses out there. I am sitting at 106.9 with Ben Watson to go. Hopefully I can get to around 115 or so and make the cut!
There's a few players tonight who appear on quite a few rosters. So there's some potential to increase the cut depending on how these guys do......B.Watson on 2700 rostersT.Williamson on 1600 rostersD.Gabriel on 1200 rostersGostkowski on 1000 rostersL.Maroney on 720 rostersC.Taylor on 400 rostersVikings D on 400 rostersPatriots D on 400 rosters
Here's hoping the ONLY one on that list with a decent day is the NEP defense.....102.1 + (NEP D -0) :o Big games from any of the top 5 on that list will really move the line as they are on such a high % of rosters.

Me too. Love me some pie. But when calculating the circumfrence of said pie I tend to use Pi. But that's just me....

Well, you cant find out the area of A Pie without Pi. Right?FWIW, I am at about 140 this week so looks like this is the only fantasy league I still have any hope of winning.

:sadbanana:

Unofficial and preliminary: pre-MNF cut would be 101.1
:lmao: @ all of the 125-130 will be the cut posts.
People wrongly assume that because there were many high scoring athletes that there will be high scores here. Thing is, percentage-wise, people are not going to own all these top guys on any kind of level...
My assessment of low 120's was based on the fact that there was decent scoring, similar to week 3 which had the 75% cut in the high 120's, as well as 4 teams on bye. The rest of my arguement showed that other than that week, the numbers were much lower. Figuring the talent level of the teams is a bit better that it was in week 3, low 120's didn't seem out of the question. With pre MNF cut at 101, I would now think it could finish over 110, but unlikely above 115. When I ran the cut analysis with the full data set a few years ago, it was not as unusual as you'd think to have it bump 10-15 points during the MNF game. I haven't looked to see how "popular" tonite's players are, but if they are widely held (and I'm thinking not so much actually), the cut can move pretty far.

My 1st time calculating my score (I've always been patient for the results) but I look like I'm at 136.5

I was counting on getting Alexander back, but just saw on ESPNews that he's out AT LEAST 1 more game... :-( That's almost one third of my budget gettting me nothing each week!

WOW....I'm sitting at 101.4 with Watson, B.Johnson-22.0 (won't happen), Gostkowski-2.0, Minnesota defense -2.0gonna be interesting, no big games tonight and a decent game by Watson and Minny defense should get me over that mark.

Watson, Gabriel and (possibly) Williamson and Gostkowski may just be saving what I thought was a lost cause!

I use pie...like pizza pie... :D

Ben Watson is not helping keep the curve down...I still think the cutoff is going to be north of 130...
:lmao: :lmao:
Didn't see Drinen's post...101, eh? Well last week he posted a number and it was north of that by about 10 at the end of the MNF game...Watson is on too many rosters for that number not to move a little closer to at least 110 or so. You watch.
Cut was 93 last week finished at 101.3Cut is at 101 this week, will probably finish at 110 or so110 does not = 130 last time I checked.

with watson im at 111.3

come on travis taylor you bum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe 5-6 points from your sorry butt and ill be happy

I didn't say it did...I didn't see Drinen's post on page 44, and you are agreeing that the line will move up, so we agree, thanks.
