Subscriber Contest is LIVE (4 Viewers)

I agree that the cut won't be as high as 160-170, but it should be the highest cut to date. With about 45 points between Watson and Gore alone, numbers will be pretty elevated. Wouldn't doubt the cut will be between 140-150 at this point.

140 plus the better of LT, Fred Taylor, or Maurice Jones-Drew.

I should be feeling very safe, but I still have a nervous uneasy feeling.

This contest has been great fun. I found myself watching my contest team more than any of the other 5 games I was involoved in this week. :football:

I sure hope I make it to week 12 --

Bass n Brew, Do you think the cut will be more than 166?

My highest week so far in at 194.3 and threw away Maroney's numbers. I have all the usual suspects, Evans, Gore, Parker, Glenn and Watson so that may give you a taste.

I also had Steve Smith, Palmer and Miami that padded the numbers a bit.

150.2 with no players remaining.

Not feeling very good about this score. With very popular Gore, FWP, Edwards, and Watson totaling about 83 of that, there really wasn't anyone unique setting me apart from the crowd.

At least my QB (Peyton) scored close to 20, so I'm hoping there are enough poor QB scores hurting other teams to get me through.

Oh yeah, and a poor day by LT is probably critical to my survival at this point.

I've estimated mine at 185, one of my better weeks and I am not counting P Manning or Mark Clayton, who both had ok days.

Good Luck to all and hope that I can move forward to next week.

Oh, God bless Lee Evans.

I'm at 162.4 I believe, and basically done unless Wilford has a better game than Glenn.

Best thing going for me was Dolphins D, and Galloway was decent. Otherwise my scoring guys were frequently owned so I agree cut will be quite high - I'm thinking high 140's or even low 150's.

Counted my score up and didn't realize receptions were 1 point. Right or did I misread?

With 1 point for receptions I'm at 158 and had Grossman, still have Phil Rivers tonight. Also have Jones-Drew, Turner, Matt Jones, and a few others. Dolphins helped out big time, as well as FWP and our dear friend Lee Evans.

Sitting at about 170 with Javon Walker (-4.1) and Feely (-5) to go. Feeling pretty good about moving on.

I think I'll need SD Def to score 3 times, with 12 sacks and 6 turnovers to advance.
Could see BoradwayG and Grizzly One both bow this week. They were listed as "teams to beat" earlier this week based on season performance to date (#18 and #1 specifically). Definitely a BAD week for the players carrying the power in this game. Maybe there is hope for those of us with "vanilla" rosters...

Not a chance.

Makes no difference actually. Next week LJ faces Denver and FWP faces the Ravens. I am afraid I will be done next week for sure. Oh well the final 1000 isn't bad. Jim

I am at approx 190 points probably a bit over. I think I am safe another week. Evans, Parker, Gore and Miami D helped me big this week. Plus I have some slim hope that Rivers can out do Manning (Peyton), but I think I am safe anyway.

While I'm waiting to get the formatting help, I'll drop a few more tidbits. Using the remaining 1501 entries as the data pool, a grand total of THREE teams have been in the top 50% every week.Player Min %Jack Downing 63.8%todd anderson 63.0%Kimberly Regester 57.6%Min % is their lowest percentile ranking, meaning for example Downing has beaten at least 63.8% of all entries EVERY weekAll 3 of these teams look strong and are among the ones to beat from what I can tell.To give an idea how fast this drops off, my min% 57th overall at 30.8%. I'm also only in the top 750 for total points (I've never been above the top 74% either not looking good for the home team!). The teams I listed above also have been in the 92nd percentile and above as well so they can score big with their players. What REALLY scary is that Mr. Downing has a MEDIAN percentile of 94.6% so HALF the time he is in the top 5%! The only other player with this number above 90% is Mike Pontius (and since there's 2 Mike Pontius, they'll have to figure out which is which)...and there's only 36 teams above 80.Anyone else ready to crown Downing as king? As long as Tomlinson keeps him alive he's looking more and more dangerous to me. I don't thing I've sliced the data in any meaningful way that doesn't have him out of the top 3 teams, and things drop quickly off the top as you may have started to notice.I WANT A CHANCE! GO BRONCOS D!
The kiss of death....ugh!I like my chance with anyone, but one bad week and it's over.
I am a superstitious guy. I just knew all the talk this week would do me in. I'll make my concession speech now. I needed monster games from LT and Walker, not to be. Good luck to those still left alive.

Good lord. With LT going off, scoring is going to be astronomical. If you didn't have a piece of the Evans/LT/CJ/LJ/Gore action, it's probably over.

I hate to be an alarmist but I think the cut really is going to be in the 160 range.

LT is going to put me into the top 1000.

I love LT :banned:

With all of these high ownership guys like Gore, Parker, and Evans going off, I'm thinking the high 150's/low 160s seems about right.

So much for the LT owners getting bounced with the DEN matchup this week.

With the %held of LT/Evans/Gore relative to the 1500 left, I think its almost a lock EVEYONE has at least 1 dog in that race. I just have Gore, and still feel very confident at 178 points, but as a previous poster said this week's cut line may be SICK!

That's very true. As I mentioned above, if you don't have 2 or even 3 of that combo, it might be exit time. I went over 200, and wouldn't be suprised at all if I don't crack the top 100.

And in an unrelated note, on the very off chance I win any money, I just found out that since I'm from Louisiana, I can't collect. Hopefully, FBG will donate any left over prize money to St. Jude's or another charity.

Don't know if it states anyhting explicitly in the rules, but if I recall from years past the cash just slides down to the next available player....Maybe its time to reread how that works again, and run a poll on how many left are ineligible...

Good idea. Ok, so who's under 18 or from Arizona, Louisiana, Arkansas, Montana, Iowa, Vermont, North Dakota or the province of Quebec?

With LT going against Oakland at home next week, I think any of us non LT owners that advance are going to have a hard time making the 500 cut.
