Managed to survive the week without any major injuries to my core, with C.J. Anderson showing signs of life. All of my core has already had their BYE week. John Brown should have a solid 2nd half of the season if his hammy's hold up after the BYE, and Matt Jones should have some big weeks here and there.

Squeaked by another week and actually with rash of injuries starting to feel good about this team that so far has avoided them. 8 players at 36 dollars have not been used yet but still have faith that some of them may have a role later in season, should I hang on.

Back to back weeks over 200....I was averaging right around 180 for the first 6 weeks (high of 184 and low of 174).

Brady, Gronk, Gurley, Martin, Ivory, Julio, Olsen have been my major contributors. WR group is looking thin though. It would be nice if Cooks can have more games like last week, but I have little faith that will happen.

Yeah - it looks like the cut should be 0.20 less per the Igomatic. About 15 teams should get back in and a corresponding 15-18 teams are likely to end up being out.

If Iggy is right, then I'm one of those 15 teams, hitting exactly the cutoff number.

202 this week. After being a few points above the cutline most of the early weeks, I've been over 200 three weeks in a row. Getting big games from Ben Watson has added a lot to my team's production.

I don't really have any bye issues remaining, so I'm hoping to stick around a while...but I do have a very weak RB group with Doug Martin being the only regular contributer.

I'd e-mail Dodds if I were you - that 16 is still there for the Giants. Alert him to the error - otherwise they may not find it in time.

Still alive! Scored 205 this week.

T. Brady (7), S. Bradford (1), M. Sanchez (0)
L. Bell (5), D. Woodhead (6), R. Mathews (4), K. Davis (0), M. Jones (1), J. Starks (2), CAP (0), C. Michael

R. Gronk (7), R. Rodgers (3), B. Watson (4), V. Green (0)
R. Bullock (0), J. Scobee (2), SeaBass (5)
Colts (3), Jags (2), Raiders (3)

I already mentioned this but my main goal was to have a 30 person roster - it seems to have paid off with the variety of contributors at the lower priced players along with the studs I did select basically being studs every week. I mention that strategy again as it led me to have the variety of backup, but 1A type running backs. These were guys I thought would have some decent weeks along the way but could/would take on a full load if the starter went down. Not that I was rooting for injuries, but if they did occur to these guy's starters I could be set with a full time RB at a lower price. That didn't really work with K. Davis

Finally, the L. Bell injury is going to hurt a lot, especially since I only have one other "stud" in D. Woodhead. The worst part about Bell's injury, within the context of this contest, is that in several iterations of my team I had DWill and now I obviously wish I kept one of those squads. Ultimately, I decided against locking up $38 in the Steeler's RB spot and instead I looked at it like getting a discount on Bell at "only" $32 for the Steelers RB - at least that's how I rationalized not keeping DWill. Oh well, still alive for now.

I am certain I've never made it this far into the contest. My team is held together with duct tape, but I can't complain about my cheap players. They are the only reason I am still alive.

After putting up scores ranging from 145 to 215...this may be the week I get bounced. My RB situation is shaky this week with Lynch on a BYE. Its gonna be close. Need my Brady-Gronk-Jones-Cooper-Watson-Martin crew to keep it going strong.

even if i survive this week i am dead during A brown's bye.... none of my cheap WR's hit this year (d adams, funchess, amendola - had a couple games, douglass, beaseley, wheaton, royal)

55 points from Dalton and Eifert is a good start. Even as a Brady owner I'm wondering if I want to get my voodoo doll on him and Gronk soon (I have Chandler). One of only 17 entries left with Dalton and Flacco (3 of these have Brady too, including me).

If Adams start to play well it could make WR less important down the stretch here as almost 2/3 of the entries have him and about 5/8 of the entries have Julio. (A tiny bit under half of the entries have them both). When it gets time for the final they could effectively neutralize 2 roster spots if they are putting up points.

Finally cracked the top 500 after putting up 195.1 last week. My team has somehow been incredibly consistent with only 1 week under 180 and no weeks above 200.

It's weird because I have different players scoring each week it seems. I'm just not sure I have the upside to make a deep run, though I'm glad it's a 3-week total if I make the final 250.

I'm at 116 now (111 out of the live entries). Dunno if it'll crap out but I do think this is the best entry I've put together :)

Just for fun, I am predicting this for the record:

CJ Anderson owners are about to get happy

Hillman has been the favorite son over the last few weeks. But Hillman is not regarded as a true every down back. If you remember Anderson last year, you had an angry runner that could run well between the tackles and carry the team. I get this feeling that as we transition into late November / early December, Denver will start to run the ball better to complement that brutal defense.

Anyway, just a thought

LOL yeah I knew I couldn't sneak that by you guys. ;) But while I like to have a Bengal or two on my roster I still have to pat myself on the back for picking the right one :) Dalton really was a case of value as he murdered my fantasy season last year with that infamous 2.0 game vs Cleveland - I actually avoided him in my conventional drafts. Here it was just a case that I generally like roll 3 at QB and his value and durability were the reason why I grabbed him (my other 2 guys are Brady and Flacco - guys that also have a history of playing every game).

Eifert has been better than expected but a ton of folks were on the Eifert train this year so that's not such a biggie. :drive:

Can't give myself too much credit though as if I had rolled just 2 QB I most likely woulda kept Flacco over Dalton :/

Just need my Brandy/Chandler to start clicking with each other now ;)

This is going to be my goodbye week. I have never been hit so hard by injuries before (but make no mistake, this team was going nowhere even if healthy).

My running back scoring has to come from these 3: Demarco Murray, Ryan Mathews, and Mike Tolbert (chipping in with a solid .5 so far).

Even my depth players are hurt - Eddie Royal, Kendall Wright, Ladarius Green.

Good luck to everyone rest of way.

I need to write down the lesson learned this year. I always mean to, but I forget. With todays game, there are just so many injuries. I think bigger roster is way to go, with money going towards mid priced players. Teams need to be able to absorb the injuries that continue to happen.

I disagree strongly. You need to pick the right studs and hope they don't get injured, while hitting on some cheaper players as well. Mid priced guys are some of the worst values in the whole contest. Sure there is the risk that your stud gets hurt and you don't have the depth to cover it. IMO you need to build your roster with the assumption that everyone on your roster stays healthy (outside of a handful of games here and there).

The only time I placed in the money I had a 30 man roster with mid ranged players. I went with "studs" this year at rb - Bell and Demarco Murray.

I also see the other point. If you assemble a 20 man roster with mainly studs, and they all stay healthy, you have a great shot too.

Next year I think I am not going to go upper echelon rbs (at least by cost. Obviously who is going to have a big year is subjective). I am going to focus on backs who can catch. I will go 1 stud receiver and multiple high catch potential receivers (I will not focus on tds). Tight end I will do what I always do - select 4 or 5, 3 defense, 3 kickers. I have gone 2 and 3 qbs. I go three when I feel there is alot of value in the mid and lower tier.

I've had my best success going large roster and picking the same players everyone else picks. Then I hope one of my cheap defenses goes off in the money round.

First time all season I've been less than 20 pts. over the cut after the 1:00 games. Sitting rigth at the line with every poitn CJA, Martin, and/pr Michael score counting and everything Julio scores from here on counting. Goling to be sweating. Doesn't much matter..won't go far with Bell and Ben out.
