Summerpalooza VIII: Music + Fantasy Football HELP ME SORT IT OUT (2 Viewers)

I'd be willing to be 18th in you need me and/or are willing to listen to nu metal or if you want to keep it to 16 and keep marco as a replace that's fine
I will let this thread naturally go for a couple days, see if I truly did miss the 18th person when trying to tally everyone. See if anyone else decides they truly don't actually want in, etc. However, we would love to include you. You can draft as much POD and Slipknot as you want. These music drafts embrance everything.

Yep. Eephus has drafted nothing but jazz at least one season.

not to worry, I would make you guys sit through a full nu metal playlist. You can breathe a sigh of relief now @krista4

Go ahead and count me out after all. I've realized that my travel schedule from mid-September to mid-November is going to be insane, and I don't feel like I'll be able to keep up enough to win. I like to win.
Going anywhere especially fun?

Mostly not. Five work trips - Vegas, Denver, Colorado Springs, Denver again, Nashville. For fun, OH and I are heading to Memphis for Gonerfest, and I'm taking my mom to Paris/London. Also, Louisville for my nephew's wedding, which qualifies as neither work nor fun.

You aren't kidding that is a lot of travel.

Yeah, it seemed even worse than I'd realized once I'd typed it out.

Wow. That's a full boat. That's only two months for seven trips and one overseas. Wow. You stressing yet?

I hope the trips with your Mom and OH are just excellent, Krista. I think it's great you're going with your mother to Paris and London. I hope you really enjoy both trips, but that sounds very special in some way. I hope it's just a chance to be together with you mom for one of those great trips where you'll both remember the places and talk about them fondly in the future. One of those trips, you know?

eta* full boat. Full boat, darn it. Not bull boat. Jeez. Unless you're going Hemingway style.

Thanks, my friend. Yes, I'm stressing a bit. It reminds me of when I was going back and forth with x number of cats over and over last summer.

My Mom and I are going to Paris because I have some upgrade certificates to use by January, and she decided she really wanted to go to Morocco. So I booked that, and then she had a health scare and we thought it might not be a great place to be if there were an emergency. So instead we changed to doing a Backroads hiking trip in Joshua Tree. Then she decided she'd really rather go back to Paris. Hopefully that is the last change. Since she's never been to London, I told her we'd take the Eurostar over and spend a day. I do think it will be a very nice trip.

Heh. Good luck. I hope it works out and that you both really have the trip of your lives. Or at least a mother-daughter time you'll both reflect upon and remember each other in that context forever. No pressure (LOL).

You basically have the same schedule as a musician who is on tour to promote their latest album.
