It was second down. Wilson was supposed to throw it away. I'm guessing but I'm pretty sure.
No. Bruce Irvin out of wvuThat was a great game, congratulations Pats fans. What a pathetic display by the Hawks players trying to ruin it, what a bunch of sore losers. Was that Lambier and Rodman in there?
I think it's easy to criticize the play now, after you know it didn't work. Had it worked I don't think anyone is questioning it, let alone calling it one of the worst ever.Yes he is money in crunch time. You believe that one play means he isn't?Yet we heard all night and week how money Wilson is in crunch time. Seems people were fine putting it in his hands until it didn't work out.No sorry. Not a bad play call. A terrible one. Embarrassingly bad. Unnecessary.Bad play call? Those pick plays work like 99% of the time in the NFL. It was just a great defensive play. Butler jumped that route perfectly.
Several great ones lately. Too difficult to pick between themSeriously. Best Superbowl ever?
Pete Carroll is no longer Mr. Perfect in Seattle. Curious if the fans who strongly support him at this point will defend that GL pass or trash him for it.Interesting, how so?that call may have changed how the next few years go even
You'll get over it. I got over 18-1.BusterTBronco said:I never been so pissed off in my whole life. Never. The Seahawks just grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory.
He didn't make the call did he? That's on Bevell (I think?).Pete Carroll is no longer Mr. Perfect in Seattle. Curious if the fans who strongly support him at this point will defend that GL pass or trash him for it.Interesting, how so?that call may have changed how the next few years go even
This is the part you're missing; even if it worked, it was the wrong call.Yet if that play works I'm sure everyone is saying it was genius and the legend of Wilson in crunch time grows exponentially.Sometimes you just get beat by a guy making a great play. That's what Butler did.Who cares if it's Wilson? J.H. Christ could be behind Center and wit the time left and the TOs (and the face that NE didn't call a TO)..... you give it to MarshawnYet we heard all night and week how money Wilson is in crunch time. Huh? it was a slant..he knew exactly what he wanted to do. The rookie made a great play on the ball.It was second down. Wilson was supposed to throw it away. I'm guessing but I'm pretty sure.
The used up all their luck against Green Bay.BusterTBronco said:I never been so pissed off in my whole life. Never. The Seahawks just grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory.

even if they did score I'd still think it was stupid to risk it. If they hadZero timeouts then yes pass.. but when you have Lynch, a timeout and 30 seconds for the win you go with Lynch 100% of the time.Relax. They have been dealing with bandwagon Squawk trolls who don't remember Holmgren in the 49er thread.49ers fans all class. Well played #######I love it. Hawks are such punks.U mad bro?Congrats, Patriot fans!![]()
One of the best for sure.Hell no.Seriously. Best Superbowl ever?
What? That was like a great movie with a horrible ending. So much fun, so exciting while you're watching it, but the ending ruins everything. Worst Superbowl ending ever.
So you're a Seattle fan I guess.Your posts are predictable and terrible.I'm sure whiny a@@ Seattle fans will find some way to blame the refs or the orbit of the earth, or... take your pick
yeah that was a great gameOne of the best for sure.Hell no.Seriously. Best Superbowl ever?
What else could you want?
HOF QB, one of the best ever.
Rising QB
Great defense
guy from nowhere tearing it up
a couple huge WTF moments
There ain't one hawk fan here who has shown class the last few years. You reap what you sow #####49ers fans all class. Well played #######I love it. Hawks are such punks. U mad bro?Congrats, Patriot fans!![]()
Lol at "luck." Your team choked. The used up all their luck against Green Bay.BusterTBronco said:I never been so pissed off in my whole life. Never. The Seahawks just grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory.
Still in shock they didn't run it. One of those things that just seems unbelievable.
While true the Seahawks got too cute there instead of doing the smart thing and paid dearly for it.Yet if that play works I'm sure everyone is saying it was genius and the legend of Wilson in crunch time grows exponentially. It shouldn't even be on him to make a read. They run they win. Unless he calls an audible out of a run it is not him. He didn't call an audible though.I'm almost positive that's on Wilson.
I'm no OC but as soon as he went to gun I said to my son 'what are they doing?' - so I assume most other regular fans were questioning before the play.I think it's easy to criticize the play now, after you know it didn't work. Had it worked I don't think anyone is questioning it, let alone calling it one of the worst ever.Yes he is money in crunch time. Best ending ever. That ridiculous catch at the end makes you think the excessively annoying Seahawks somehow found a way to pull yet another one out of their asses at the end but then get cute and blow it.That was like a great movie with a horrible ending. So much fun, so exciting while you're watching it, but the ending ruins everything. Worst Superbowl ending ever.
I would take Gronk one on one against any one of those guys. I rewound and watched it multiple times and 3-4 different guys took a run at him. I would have loved to see him whoop Bennett's ###.Super Fight I
The good guys were going to win. The evil cheaters were going to go down. It was all set up that way. It was going to be a glorious Hollywood ending. But they screwed it up.What? That was like a great movie with a horrible ending. So much fun, so exciting while you're watching it, but the ending ruins everything. Worst Superbowl ending ever.
