With work schedules on the various coasts, the weekends are the only time this will fly. I'd say focus on Saturday or Sunday one of the next 2 weekends (not this one).

Will drafting on a dial-up connection be a problem?I'm going to be down at the Jersey shore with the girlfriend on Thursday (planned to stay till Friday), but she only has dial-up there. Additionally, I probably won't be capable of playing around with the computer until Thursday.If dial-up's a problem, I suppose I'll just have to make like an anti-social bug and leave the beach early to go draft

The software appears to accept the first bid that it gets at a given price. So you may lose a couple players by a buck despite bidding on them, or miss out on bidding on someone at the last second because your connection is slow. I doubt it though - it's not like there's that much data going back and forth, or like eveyone makes their final bid for the same amount at the same time that commonly. It'd be a tiebreaker against you, but that's about it.

Your call, just wanted to put it out there.

By the way, Thursday 7pm EST works fine for me.

However, I really, really want to have someone use the strategy that I have outlined for this competition as I think it will be fairly interesting. I've already written instructions for the draft and I've finished my somewhat lengthy writeup. Can I appoint someone who has demonstrated a desire to participate in this competition into my spot and then instruct them on how to use the plan that I have outlined? I will make sure that the plan is extremely thorough so that it leads to a draft that will be very representative of my overall strategy for this league.

Pre-draft strategy - What was your plan?  How much cap were you hoping to spend, who are you targetting, etc.  This will actually be due to Clayton Gray the morning of the draft (It will not be shared with anyone on staff).  I want them turned in before because I expect certain players did not go as cheap as expected, etc.  This should be interesting to our viewers to see how everyone adjusted to their plan.2.  First 8 players purchased - Good deals, bad deals, How did this deviate from your plan.  What is your new plan. i got a practice one going... had to download javascript something... i am practicing right now and it is taking a quick time but i think we will have 2 minutes between picks rather than like 10 seconds right?? anyway, i also had to start using IE again instead of Mozilla... once this is done it is back to Mozilla though. pretty cool app too.

The word dome is underappreciated. As for my sig...I agree. I have been pondering about a new way to advertise my brilliance.
