the 1st season 2016  in " the tribe is spoken" is the worst but still decent 
the rest a good to great 
you should watch in order as contestants do return and you can see the evolution of AUS 
the contestants dont whine , hold grudges and appreciate game play so no bitter juries 
the challenges are harder and pretty good twists 
the host is very good

NZ is  the worst of the 3 imho 
SA is good but a couple of seasons the contestants were followers .

The 3 seasons on paramount plus are all good. I don't think it matters that much if you missed the seasons before them. They do a good job with character development. 

 
Yea i believe the first season that is on paramount is a good place to start.  You can typically find downloads in the survivorAU reddit sub also and i believe someone posted a facebook group that also has them.

sure.... but doesnt she outright say she manipulates her flock to do her bidding whether they want to or not, much like she was trying to do on Survivor? feels different than not being honest.

Seasons 4, 5 & 6 are on Paramount Plus. 4 & 5 were great, watching 6 now. 

Season 5 is an All Star cast. I watched this season without watching the first 3 seasons and it was still excellent. The show does a good job at filling in the gaps so it definitely spoils the previous seasons, but still very enjoyable to watch. 

 
we watched an ep of Aussie... didn't seem that interesting to me, tbh. more of the same but without Jeff- who has got the hosting thing down to an art. The aussie host didn't add much of anything, especially to the jury.

Stick with it.  First few episodes can be slow as they intro you to everyone and build.  But then it takes off!!

The best survivor player I have ever seen is in one of those 3 seasons on Paramount Plus.

We're a bunch into it (s4)....and it's gotten pretty epic so far. Model Dave is fantastic in a hate to love to hate/love him way. Needs his own show. And I love how they subject tsunami lady to every tsunami nightmare possible.

Highly recommend.

 
This last US Survivor was by far my least least favorite season of all time.  

So now I’m interested in watching the Aussies.  Which season should I start with?

Cool- will be fun to share it with somebody in somewhat real time. It took me a couple eps to get into it...but there's something in the pacing of this that feels better than the US- can't put my finger on it. Or maybe it's just mullet-man.

Wife and I are two episodes in on the Australian Survivor, season 4 I think. Contenders versus Champions.
 

It’s pretty entertaining thus far. Not crazy about the hour + episodes but we are in for the season I imagine.

It got a lot better for me just past this.

 
Just signed up for Paramount. You guys got me jonesing to watch again I've watched them all on Cinema but I got rid of the app because it really is kind of stealing sort of I guess. Anyway watching the Champs vs contenders. Luke my favorite was on 2 seasons prior I believe but it's not offered. Him and his little buddy hiding the candy was epic.

Yeah...I think it's just 4-6. 4 being champs vs losers.

 
For those of you wanting to watch AUS Survivor, I highly recommend starting with season 1 (2016).  It's been posted multiple times, but join the Facebook Group "The Tribe Has Spoken" and they have all seasons, all episodes available.  The finale of 2016 is probably my favorite Survivor episode of all time and I know for a fact it is spoiled in future seasons/episodes at least once or twice.

I've only seen pre-merge S4... but SuperModel Dave is hands down the best player I've seen. He's actually funny and insightful while at the same time being a total self-aggrandizing (and I think, self-aware) jackhole. And he seems to have a great read on the game and the other players. He's like supermodel and smarter Boston Rob. the season was begging for his ET go home comment, and he didn't disappoint.

we just watched the Family movie from home reward... him going face down into the popcorn on the ground while ignoring his wife and kid on the tv  :lol:

and the guy lives (or lived) in Brooklyn... he's made for the US market. There's a good reason he's getting so much screen time- purely entertainment.

Dave definitely one of the better players and enjoyable to watch same with Luke . They are two of my favorite players Luke being number 1. It's a shame you can't see Luke's previous season and all his highjinks very enjoyable. 

George was on the last season totally unlikable at least to me and probably to most of his tribe mates. That's why I couldn't believe how easy he manipulated the other contestants.

I'll try to use that FB group thing posted above to watch other seasons... will keep an eye out for more  Luke and George.

George wouldn't be able to pull his manipulate #### in a season with returning players that also included Luke, the Flicks or Daisy

Yea your probably right,but he is extremely good at manipulation.  I mean he already did to Flick#2 .I think he is a campaign manager for politicians down under so you know he has to be sleazy and sneaky . I think he would find away.

I've only skimmed the posts on here about Australia in case I gave it a shot, so I don't know if it's been brought up before, but now that I'm trying out a season on Cinema, you seem to be the one to ask...

One thing that's bothering me right off the bat is that the music seems constant and too loud relative to the dialogue.  Is that just an issue on the Cinema feeds or is it the same on Paramount?

I never really noticed the music being louder than dialog. I did notice volume was all over the place. Possibly try different link or delete and reinstall app. I used firesticktricks I believe. 

With Paramount + you get a free month. Which is enough to binge what they have.. Bad thing is it is not offering 1st 2 or 3 seasons it was on. First season not quite as good as the rest,but that final challenge was epic. I don't think there has ever been a tougher challenge on anything on television before or since.

George was able to manipulate even when folks knew what he was.  He would find a way.  

 
We just binged AU Season 4 over the holidays. Good stuff.

My fiance hated Dave, I thought he was hilarious. Loved Luke's game as well. Mullet man is epic. Harry was great as well. Good, fun season.

Yes it was his cockiness. She too thought he was a great player, but couldn't get over his attitude, bout outwardly (at some points) and in confessionals. I thought his confessionals were hilarious.

I'm 85% sure his cocky attitude is mostly schtick for the cameras to try to land more work himself...like a giant audition for future roles. He's a bit like Sawyer in Lost, in all the best ways.

 
We are watching AU4 and just got to the flipping of the tribes. Can’t believe everyone is falling for Dave and his game. ET was incredible! 
 

We like it much better than the American version and all of its “wokeness”!
