100% this....there may not be a person on the planet whose personality would be be so opposite of mine and drive me more nuts.....

I have to look away from the TV every time they say...."and here's your first look at the X tribe without X voted out at the last tribal council"......she is one of those people that no matter who it is that gets voted out, she has to do the look at me "oh my god I can't believe it" mouth open expression....it literally makes me want to get up and punch a ####### hole in my TV screen where her face is.....I'm sorry but I can't stand people that are wired that way....

 
Hulk better keep his yapper shut. Fruit loops has too much power atm.   Just get through whatever twist is involved in this merge and then figure it out.  There are 3 idols in play now. Do the extra votes carry over after the merge?

To your last sentence, yes.

Drea and Maryanne have extra votes.

Drea, Mike and Maryanne have idols.

Drea, Lindsay and Hai have the amulet advantage, which means different things depending on how many of them are left in the game.

Omar does not have a vote at his next tribal. He lost it when both he and Chanelle risked their votes on the shipwheel.

after watching 42 seasons of Survivor, i've become conditioned to offhand remarks being harbingers. would have bet $100 he returned to the beach without that spear...or at least a spear-related injury.

From someone who has had numerous shoulder dislocations.  The shoulder is no longer dislocated and probably feels fine.  However, there is a big difference between the sudden/hurried movements of competing in a challenge vs. some relatively easy snorkeling.

I believe the shoulder really made him even more of a liability challenge.  That being said, he clearly hid behind the injury and didn't do enough to express the exposure of his competing to the team or find a challenge in which he could contribute.  Overall, good riddance.

Yep. If you’re still watching the show after that, the twists this season probably don’t bother you THAT much.

Honestly, that sucked more for the other finalists. I didn’t mind it because it was well known and redemption island had been done before. See below for something that IMHO was way worse and in fact did determine the winner.

I am definitely not as big of a fan for having so many advantages in play at one time along with the 1 in 6 chance for safety. It’s almost like they’re trying to add too many twists. Oh, you won the challenge and thought you were safe? Nope, we’re going to give a person (who was discussed as the next to go) the difficult decision of giving herself immunity for nothing more than saying she wants it. I mean who would have thought she’d take immunity when she had no consequences or had to work to get it. I miss the 10 clue immunity idol hunt where you had to scale mountains or hike for miles to find it. That was surviving to get an idol not being handed an hourglass to break.

It makes me wonder what other crazy merge twist they’ve concocted now.

 
I'm just glad that the say stupid phrases thing should end its life with this season.  Since none of them saw the previous season, they know nothing about it.  After this, I can't see it being viable.  Unless some doofus in the future says a random  phrase just to stir the pot.

It really is a dumb process. The phrases were so goofy that it would almost be hard to not know it was for an advantage, especially the third time it was said. Also, it gives those three people no chance to almost build an alliance/work to pick each other off without the entire rest of the people knowing.

I’m definitely a fan of less advantages or at least less everyone knows advantages. I also miss the working for advantages. It just seems like they are too easy to find or more randomly given out.

Temp forgot about that original challenge advantage thing that those 3 got.  That is a LOT of power that Drea has.

lol, yeah guy ended up saying the stupid phrase about 4 times. 

If it was me, when the other 2 say the dumb phrase...I'd be the third to say it so blatantly bland and obvious that it was some sort of clue/idol activator.   My tribe already all knew about it, and then that would put the other 2 that said the phrase on blast if they were trying to keep it secret.  It's not like there would be any secret after 3 ridiculous phrases were all said in a row like that.  

 
Since everyone in Mike's tribe new about the HII, they all should have said it.  Really confuse everyone on the other tribes.  It activates it for Mike, but they won't know that it is actually him that has it.

 
Just watched the first 2 eps of the new season...the woke segments are terrible, Im glad I can just fast forward past them.

So far, meh. I'll keep watching.

Think they'll do the same thing as last season?  Make them "earn" the merge in a challenge and then give someone the option to turn back time?  I hope not.

The 41 cast was REALLY angry about the hourglass twist, almost to the point of mutinying. Danny in particular tore into Jeff and had to be talked out of quitting.

So I would not be surprised if the hourglass is still there, but it works differently. Just like how the sweat and savvy challenges worked differently and the Beware Idol was tweaked.

Maryann officially on the annoying Survivor players Mt. Rushmore. Blue haired chicken girl, Colton also make it. Honestly the fact that all 3 stick in my mind as seasons I struggled to watch...ugh. Not sure the 4th.

I agree, but that is what they look for when casting. They probably thought she could not keep acting that ay at this pace though.

yeah, it's ridiculous.  The opening scene in a recent episode when they are all sitting in the tent and she just HAS to be the loudest one, non-stop noise and singing.  Then cut to when things get calm around camp she has to start drama with Jonathan by WALKING INTO the area he is swinging a hatchet.   Just makes my blood boil thinking about it.

It's very clear to me that her self esteem is basically 0% and thinks her only way to get any attention is to be the loudest and most over the top personality she can.  Can you even imagine being her boyfriend?!?!   Good lord.

Those segments are edited down from much longer conversations. Jeff is heavily involved in casting and loves personalities that “pop.”

He's going home I think.  Really a shame as he's a nice guy in addition to being a challenge monster.  Lindsey is correct though, Jonathan is terrible at puzzles and is no lock to go on a run.

 
Pleasantly surprised!  Omar really orchestrated that I think.  Drea also impressed me this episode as a strategic player.

LOL on Rox being so out of it no one told him who to vote for so he threw one on Lindsey.

I was about to quit this season if z Jonathan was voted out because of that stupid hour glass thing.  Feel bad for Lydia such a crap way to go out

Yeah, hated the hourglass last time and still dislike it. Glad Johnathan didn't go home, he's just a likable guy and I enjoy watching him completely taking over a challenge.

Omar was very successful and I am shocked that Hai voted for Lydia as well. I guess he saw that being part of a 7 was still to his advantage.

Tori and Chanelle aren't going to last long. Chanelle got lucky that she had Daniel as a target but why would she lie to Omar? She lost her vote so she had to know that he wasn't going to have one but she doesn't mention it? She's an awful player but again Daniel was there as a shield. Tori is a moron. I don't know who she could possibly provide therapy too and do it successfully. Her attempt to say she was giving Rocks a gift by sending him to exile, was the worst attempts to save face.
