Tatum Bell (1 Viewer)

i thought the same thing.I need Drew or Busah to emerge before I can ditch Bell, but if you have a third RB as a decent RB2 option, I think you HAVE to consider selling high on TBell.
Man...You sway like a tree in the wind, don't you? Just two weeks ago, you had TBell as the second coming and now you are getting ready to throw him out with yesterday's garbage. I am still confident that TBell will be a major performer this year and there is no way that I would sell. Why Joe and David brought you on is beyond me.....

I am not pefect. However, Marc does put out some outlandish comments. Nuff said.
Why is selling high on TBell "outlandish"If I could get Torry Holt for him and I had a solid RB2 on the bench (like Deuce or KJones or some other guy who is "acceptable" at RB2), I have to consider it.I certainly wouldn't be hitting the reject trade button automatically. The Broncos' offensive ineptitude might see TBell score fewer than a TD per game from here on out and, evben though his rush yardage is nice, he doesn't normally add much yardage through the air.If you can GET top-notch RB value for him, and you have a decent RB2 sitting on the bench because TBell emerged, why WOULDN'T you consider it?And this is coming from one of the biggest TBell supporters on staff.Like I said, everyone is tradeable unless you simply can't trade them (cracKer's Chambers, for example, is in a serious sell low sitch).

Good luck selling high with Bell now. He looks to have been demoted. Mike Bell is clearly the guy Shanahan is going with now.

Clearly = 2 1/2 series now? Even if he finishes the game, I think we'll end up hearing that Tatum's toe flared up, not just some Shanahan hunch.

I meant clearly as in today. If Tatum's toe injury is the reason why he's been benched it's curious that he's even being used to spell Mike Bell. He doesn't look to be hampered by the injury. Shanahan just seems to have gone with Mike Bell and it's working.

Tatum has had one carry during Mike's series. I don't remember at what point it occured, but Mike didn't exactly bust any 20+ yard runs that he really needed a breather for. It's just as likely to me that Bell got a carry to test out the toe. All in all,IMO, it's too early to draw any conclusions as to exactly what's happening.

Perhaps. Tatum has 2 carries for 9 yards in the second half. I've been watching him to see if he was being slowed by the turf toe injury and he looks fine. Tatum owners have to hope the injury has flared up and that's why Shanahan is keeping him off the field for most of the game. The alternative isn't very appealing obviously.

I don't buy the "Tatum had a flare-up" thing. I watched the game, and the second half looked EXACTLY like the Mike Anderson/Tatum Bell dynamic from last season. Tatum came in right after Mike busted some long runs, or in several change-of-pace situations.

That was my take as well. I didn't think Tatum looked hurt; he just looked like garbage. He got benched and Mike Bell took advantage big-time.
