TE Tucker Kraft, GB (1 Viewer)

He had 3 catches. Definite sell high. And I have him in 2 leagues.
Go ahead and do that, but I'm not selling. I said earlier he was better than Musgrave and now he seems better than most other TEs. He looks like a keeper to me.
It’s not a question of talent. There are a lot of mouths to feed in GB and he delivered when both Watson and Doubs were out. Yes, in a keeper or Dynasty, hold him. In a redraft it’s not that absurd to sell high.

packers.com did list Kraft as LP (groin) today. But they listed the game status for all players on the injured list as "Unspecified". I didn't think they were allowed to do that.

You could say "lots of mouths to feed" about a lot of players

Kraft (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Paul Bretl of ESPN La Crosse reports.

Spin: Coach Matt LaFleur made it clear earlier Friday that there isn't much concern, even though Kraft was added to the injury report mid-week. Kraft was a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday, but he should get plenty of work this Sunday, especially with No. 2 tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle) being placed on injured reserve. Kraft caught 10 of 14 targets for 141 yards and three TDs over the past two games, topping 80 percent snap share in both contests.

Gotta play him again this week
Over LaPorta? It's driving me nuts.
I was actually only thinking of myself but I don't have La Porta to weigh those options
I'm just saying I don't really have much choice, short bench and too many guys I have to carry for a few weeks like Kupp, Nico Collins, you run out of space real quick
Had to cut Njoku and Kmet to keep everything together
I still have faith in Kmet but he's at like 3 targets per week, hard to make that productive consistently

ROS how are we ranking:

Kraft
Njoku
Pitts

I have them in that order, but what say yous guys?

I'd go:

Kraft
Pitts
Njoku

I just can't trust CLE offense as long as Watson is their QB and Njoku is already very banged up so far this season.

I have both Kraft and Pitts in one league. Hoping Pitts has another good game this week so I can trade him away for something semi-substantial.

TE is madness this year.

it shouldn't...this is a very good problem to have.
No, it isn't. If you had one of these guys, you're good. If you have both of these guys, half of is will be kicking ourselves on Monday.

As long as your decision making is logical in setting the lineup - you never regret your choices post game, it's a waste of time

definitely Njoku over Conklin right?

100%...and if you pick Kraft instead of LaPorta and LaPorta goes off that is not a bad thing...he is still on your team and it's a long season.

I picked Kraft over LaPorta. I blame YOU for this debacle!!!!

Working through a groin injury. Any GB insiders who can weigh in? He's still ranked pretty highly by most sources, but limited in practice + lots of mouths to feed in GB doesn't = fantasy stud

Who, the one hurt, or the one that probably got hurt as I type this, Doubs and Reed?

Several team have a good TE with one than one good WR and the only Packer WR I would classify as very good is Reed.

I waited way too long on TE.

And I’m here for a Kraft single.
Same. Wanted one of the two rookies, and they went before ADP. Every TE beyond the three elite ones seem similarly uninteresting to me, so Kraft it is. At least he was pretty consistent last season and could build upon that.
I hate carrying two tight ends… but plan on carrying Goedert and Kraft for a bit while I see what shakes out target wise between the two. I think Kraft has a much higher ceiling. Just need Love to stop spreading it around so much.

I pulled this nugget from an article that should have been foundational while we were drafting. I just found it too late. Heh. It's by a guy named Ryan Heath and I think it's important to cite him.

  • You’ve heard of an RB By Committee, but a WR By Committee can be just as frustrating for fantasy football. Over his last four seasons as Packers HC, Matt LaFleur has never allowed any WR aside from Davante Adams (in 2021) to run a route on more than 77.1% of the team’s dropbacks. For comparison, 40 WRs exceeded this mark in 2024, and only 3 WRs who played less often than this in their active games were able to average more than 14.0 FPG (Puka Nacua, Nico Collins, and Mike Evans). Over the same period, no non-Adams Packers wideout has cracked a 20% target share in any season. Receiver talent no doubt plays some part here, but on the other hand, LaFleur hasn’t allowed Jayden Reed (a player as efficient as Malik Nabers) to run above a 70% route share in either of his seasons so far. I’m interested in betting on the talented Reed to overcome this at a discount compared to last year, but the rest of this receiving corps appears to offer little upside despite how well-schemed the offense is.
  • Jordan Love is instead likely the best way to attack this team; across five starts before his 2024 groin injury, he averaged 22.2 FPG (~QB5) on 35.8 pass attempts per game (~QB4). Over the full season, the Packers ranked as the 3rd run-heaviest offense by PROE (mostly due to games started by Malik Willis and a very injured Love in the second half of the year), but they ranked as the 14th-most, 20th-most, and 5th-most pass-heavy over LaFleur’s previous three seasons. Love is priced as if this team will remain absurdly run-heavy, but the context of the offense’s aggressiveness pre-injury and the Packers’ tougher 2025 schedule have made me confident betting that the pass volume will bounce back. - Ryan Heath

I think you might be glad you missed out on the rookies.

You wanted a rookie TE over Kraft? Have you seen Kraft play? He’s a bonafide stud who is still ascending. Rookie TEs not named Bowers struggle in their first year as a rule, even some of the very best who have ever played. It’s an incredibly difficult position to master, maybe the toughest on the field after QB.

You just got lucky and don’t even realize it.

These guys won’t let them run enough routes. When will you all learn? He’s gotta get out and actually run the route and then get the ball delivered. They’re also using Musgrave in camp according to the beat reporters.

He will be great and efficient if Love finds his accuracy again, but his volume is a major question.
