i think you have to do it by name on the album.you can draft van halen, sammy hagar, or david lee roth, but only the stuff that's on those albums.

Good question. I guess, since they changed their name from Jefferson Airplane to Jefferson Starship to Starship, all three would be eligible. Hell, I don't know.

i think if a band changes their name, it counts as a different band whether the lineup stays the same or not. we must figure out the menudo question, though. this draft will not get past my round 1 pick without a clear answer.

i would say drafting "neil young" would get you "neil young and crazy horse" but not CSNY. if the artist is given top billing in the name of the band, i think you get it by drafting the artist. this of course would make "derek and the dominos", "cream", and "blind faith" separate from "eric clapton"

Right. I didn't address CSNY. If you draft Young, you would not also get CSNY. Not sure if you'd get CSNY if you drafted CSN, though. That would be a little gray, although, I'd lean towards one getting both if one drafted either.
