This has to be Jeters last season. Get the 3K and get out with a little dignity. Hard to believe Jeters skills have eroded so fast. The Yankees knew it too.

The sad part is that Jeter does not have that look of confidence anymore.

Mattingly had constant injury issues late in his career.The rest of them won rings every year and retired early out of sheer boredom.
