So I have this season’s episodes recorded and I was meaning to binge watch, is it safe to just delete them since it appears this has been a big waste as usual

There was a "history of..." episode that kind of recapped everything pertinent that happened prior to this season. I think that was just a couple of weeks ago. You could watch that, then the couple of episodes since that, and be good. The one where they found the cross was pretty intriguing in general, I thought.

Probably the worst episode of the season, other than the buildup of the "metal plate."  The gemstone was pretty cool, but like they said on the show, all they have are a bunch of as of yet unconnected random ####.

So let me get this straight.  The historical records say there's a railroad track there.  Pictures 50 years old show there's a railroad track there.  But digging it up somehow proves something to Marty about a Confederate treasure?

Not to mention the track was there for 90 years but then mysteriously buried itself 8+ feet down in the last 50.
