Tommy Bahama and now Forever 21? Eesh.I got some nice (and really inexpensive) shirts from forever 21 a little while ago, placed a second order and thought I'd throw a pair of jeans on there too - I don't really have a pair of jeans I love. The options were regular, slim fit, and skinny...I'm a pretty thin dude but didn't want anything too tight, so I just shot for the middle and got the slim.
My order came today. Holy ####. I don't want to know what the "skinny" is like, because the slims are like a second skin. It's a shame, because the color is really nice and they go well with the shirts I ordered. But there's no way I can wear these out in public. I should not be able to see the definition of my poorly-defined calves through my jeans.
The physical stores may very well be geared towards teenage girls, I wouldn't know - never been in one. Plenty of decent guys' stuff online, though. I've really liked all the shirts I've gotten from there.Tommy Bahama and now Forever 21? Eesh.
Isn't Forever 21 a teenage girl store? No shtick.
Sounds like H&M. I don't even bother anymore...one wash and stuff basically disintegrates.I've been a fan of forever21 in the past... especially for basic t-shirts- they used a nice, soft cotton and kept it simple.
the other stuff, IME, fits badly and falls apart within a few wears. a classic "get what you pair for" thing.
even worse than H&M.Sounds like H&M. I don't even bother anymore...one wash and stuff basically disintegrates.

go for the sweatpants, but wear them on your head for a few hours, or until they fall apart- whichever comes first.Guys, having a hard time making a decision

So far between the 'trending' Muhammad Ali shirt, the 'vintage' Def Leppard shirt, or the varsity-stripe sweatpants. Could use some advice
agree. wouldn't have known about the stuff for guys unless the wife hadn't dragged me in there shopping for one of her nieces.thisTommy Bahama and now Forever 21? Eesh.

Pretty sure this was covered early on. Been preaching dark tapered denim, midnight blue suits and quality european cut shirts since the thread's inception. Good to see Murica finally catching up.It took us til pg 120, but we finally got some solid advice such as a navy suit, dark blue jeans, and white oxford that doesn't fit too loose or too tight. Making strong progress in this thread...
I'd recommend going to the mall and checking out Wet Seal first.Guys, having a hard time making a decision

I'm not a fan of most of Macy's stuff. Very poor quality, but both of my suits are from there. Their best house brand is Bar iii imo. All wool slim fitting. Look great. Don't know how good quality is if worn a lot but they fit great. Not boxy at all. I've tried on most of their suits and those are by far the best ones I've tried. Have a pair of Nordstrom cap toes I wear with my suits.I think every man should own a couple of nice suits but if I had to pick one that I wear for everything it has to be the navy blue suit. I have one that is a lighter navy than most others I see
Ralph Lauren at Macy's They come in slim, modern, full cut
There are lots of discounts at Macy's and I think with all the discounts my wife collects that I managed to get this suit for around $200 or less. Also this comes in separates which I found majorly useful as you might wear a 44L in a suit jacket but that means a 36 inch waist in some of the suits and that's too tight for a lot of us. I am more of a 44/38 or even 44/40 in suits so as I have been slimming down I just take the pants back 6 weeks later and exchange them for a smaller size. I was a 52 in a coat at one time.
What I am saying is if you are buying a suit and think you might gain or lose weight, I would go with Macy's because of the return policy until you are sure you staying the same suit size for a while. Then go out and spend $1,000 on whatever top level you want.
I believe for $400-$600 you can get a pretty nice custom suit on several web sites but you need to go in the stores and try some on first to get a feel. If you wear a cheap coat or try one on, you can see a huge difference to a quality jacket in say Nordstrom's.
I like a navy suit as you can mix and match everything, you can dress it up or down, all occasions.
No no no bud29, the potato goes in the front of your pants! While wearing tighter pants I do sometimes worry about sporting bulges in public, but not ones caused by my phone/wallet.
Bomber jackets are all the :style: rage right now. The lightweight sheen fabric types, not the heavy leather Top Gun versionsIs wearing a bomber jacket ever okay?
If it's black with an orange lining. Is wearing a bomber jacket ever okay?
Sorry man, I can't fuel your fantasies with a pic. There must be a fetish site that could help you out. Something like www.whatsinhispockets.com. Good luck!Do me a favor. Take your wallet, keys, and cellphone out, put them on the counter, snap a photo and post them here
Can be. Wear a solid white t-shirt and again grab a dark denim to pair and you have a pretty solid look. I prefer black leather with a black t-shirt, dark denim, that's standard issue Los Angeles IMO. I don't wear it much anymore but I have a leather trench similar to Matrix I picked up in LA when I lived there, had it 15+ years and it still looks great. Is wearing a bomber jacket ever okay?
No, it doesn't.I have a leather trench similar to Matrix I picked up in LA when I lived there, had it 15+ years and it still looks great.

I don't wear it often since I moved back to humid subtropical South Florida, probably one of the reasons it doesn't show as much wear n tear. Leather never goes out of style. No, it doesn't.

Is $20 ok?Recommendations on shorts that are less than $50? Schtick welcomed.
I held on til the keys, then lol...
now you sound less like a fashionista and more like a fetishist.I don't wear it often since I moved back to humid subtropical South Florida, probably one of the reasons it doesn't show as much wear n tear. Leather never goes out of style.
I think I might have misused the word trench to describe the coat. It comes down to about mid thigh to knee, it doesn't fall to the floor. More of a long coat than a trench coat.but leather trench coats do.
Also looks good while you're planning on shooting up a high school.holy ####, a leather trench coat
maybe if you're roping cattle in Wyoming for a living
does it have a sash that can be used to tie it? zipper or buttons?I think I might have misused the word trench to describe the coat. It comes down to about mid thigh to knee, it doesn't fall to the floor. More of a long coat than a trench coat.
No sash, no zippers, 2-3 buttons down the center.does it have a sash that can be used to tie it? zipper or buttons?
isn't that a duster, Sheriff Longmire?I think I might have misused the word trench to describe the coat. It comes down to about mid thigh to knee, it doesn't fall to the floor. More of a long coat than a trench coat.
You were correct to call it a trench coat. This is what it looks like. I really think just the basic word "coat" would have described it better but it's not a "jacket" like the T-Birds wear.
Past the waist but above the knee.

That's terrible. Sorry. Especially if you are drowning in it after losing weight. Never wear that again. This is what it looks like. I really think just the basic word "coat" would have described it better but it's not a "jacket" like the T-Birds wear.

In Los Angeles it's only hot about 6-8 weeks, in June it can be 55 at night dipping in and out of the bars/club, it's nothing like Florida.leather over coat for use in LA and FL?![]()
