I am hoping this is a mistake, because it contradicts everything we've seen written in the last 24 hours, but the official chargers injury report lists Gates as out -

Looks like trio ready to go

Malcom Floyd, Antonio Gates and Mike Tolbert practiced on Friday, and Norv Turner thinks the Chargers' will have three of their biggest offensive weapons Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
"I'm optimistic all three will be able to play and play en extended part," Turner said.
All three are listed as questionable on the official injury report.
The biggest concern with Tolbert is his being able to secure the ball with his bruised right hand, but Turner said he "looked good" protecting the ball Friday.
"I'll be fine," Tolbert said. "I've got a lot of strength in (the hand)."
Tolbert and Gates were limited in Friday's practice, their first of the week. Floyd, who has been hampered by a hamstring, worked the entire practice after being limited Thursday and not practicing Wednesday.
Gates, who returned to action last Sunday in Indianapolis after missing the previous two games, said he was sore after working the majority of practice.
"I wanted to get a feel for how my foot was going to react to the pressure, cutting," Gates said. "Sunday, I'll make a decision on whether I can contribute to the team. My decision-making is about how much I can give and at what percent to determine whether I can go."
Also Friday, linebacker Stephen Cooper did not practice and is listed as questionable. Steve Gregory, who has been in and out of practice for the past three weeks, was limited and is listed as questionable.
