I just solved the trolley problem... :(
Same with overhearing the strike force on the Medium Place breaking in on Derek & Mindy mid-windchime.This is the bestThat may have been their best episode yet. Every character had an LOL moment or a great character moment. Tons of callbacks and even some great easter eggs like the "Bro" Demon that mistook Chidi was played by Kristin Bell's real life husband Dax Sheperd (my wife caught that, not me.)
The "Jortles!" had me absolutelySame with overhearing the strike force on the Medium Place breaking in on Derek & Mindy mid-windchime.
Also we got doses of good Janet, bad Janet, and even good Janet trying to act like bad Janet. "Hello... butt... faces...."
On Omaze you can enter a sweepstakes for an invitation to game night with Dax and Kristin at their house. The last round they let the winner pick the game, but this time around they are insisting on played their new Game Of Thrones edition of Settlers Of Catan. That may have been their best episode yet. Distinguished alumBruce Dickinson said:Tangent... the newest episode of Inside The Actors Studio is with Ted Danson. The last segment about his career is about The Good Place. He was effusive in his praise of his co-stars and Schur, loves doing the show because at its core it's a discussion of what makes a person good or bad, but wrapped up in fart joke humor. Amazed how Schur can walk that tightrope. Said some parts of Season 1 were tough because only him, Bell, and Schur knew where the show really was going. Fun not having that barrier with the other four main cast members this season.
Overall the episode was a gracious and grateful Danson celebrating that, much like Mayday Malone, he's the luckiest son of a ##### on Earth. Showers the people in his life with praise and kindness.
Jason made a molotov cocktail, yelled "Bortles!" and threw it. They made their way to the portal. Michael handed out pins to Chidi, Jason, and Tahani and sent them through the portal, but didn't have one for Eleanor. Janet was missing, and the bad crew caught up with them. Michael realized that the only option was to sacrifice himself, so he gave Eleanor his pin and pushed her through the portal. Then he was caught. Can someone tell what happened after danson was told there was a party in the museum and dax Sheppard thought chidi was someone else.
I one of the special forces going to the medium place
My DVR cutoff
yeah thanks - it wasnt on my on demand at first for some reason but i finally caught upJason made a molotov cocktail, yelled "Bortles!" and threw it. They made their way to the portal. Paraphrasing Jason... all the Jaguars need are a few new players on offense, and on defense, and a few rule changes and they will be right back there in it.Guess Jason has to wait another year for the Jags to win the Super Bowl :(
It was good, but I also got a "Lost" vibe from it.kupcho1 said:Damn what a great season finale. Nothing was going to live up to the season 1 ending, but this was very well done, and headed off in yet another direction.
So, more of a "Man with a Plan" guy...It was good, but I also got a "Lost" vibe from it.
Too many twists and turns where I finally gave up

At first I was thinking Madden on the original PlayStation, but that's the Mark Brunell/Fred Taylor/Jimmy Smith era of the Jaguars where they put up a lot of points. Too fun for a true Jaguars superfan.I really want to know what Jason's medium place would be.
IMO the LOST vibe was intentional. They zoomed in on Eleanor's eyes opening way too many times for it not to be.It was good, but I also got a "Lost" vibe from it.

Fair concerns. I'm in for the ride, but I understand. No, just I don't think the writers have a clue where they are going. Are the 4 alive again, in a different dimension or are they in The Matrix? I did love seeing Ted Danson behind a bar again.
Oh I am in also for the duration or until it gets too warped.Fair concerns. I'm in for the ride, but I understand.
I was hesitant to bring up the LOST parallels to my wife, who still feels residual burns from how badly LOST fell apart at the end after starting so strong.Oh I am in also for the duration or until it gets too warped.
Agreed, I can see a joke next season where they all are brought back together somehow and figure out "we've been in purgatory the whole time!"I can't believe Michael Schur would have accidentally written that many LOST parallels. He's a smart guy who knows his pop culture. So I think the nods to LOST are intentional.
If that is the case, I can accept that and look forward to Season 3Speaking of duration, I believe the show creator said it's all planned out for three 13-episode seasons, then it's done and over. So, next season would be the last.
Maybe you weren't aware the he conferred with Lindelof on world building before he even started on the Good Place. Here's a recent articleI can't believe Michael Schur would have accidentally written that many LOST parallels. He's a smart guy who knows his pop culture. So I think the nods to LOST are intentional.
All the Madden he wants, but it's Madden 1994, before the Jags joined the league.I really want to know what Jason's medium place would be.
An NFL without Blake Bortles is a time frame Jason might not be able to deal with. All the Madden he wants, but it's Madden 1994, before the Jags joined the league.
That explains why they're telling the story at such a fast pace. There's no need for a holding pattern if extra renewals happen.Speaking of duration, I believe the show creator said it's all planned out for three 13-episode seasons, then it's done and over. So, next season would be the last.
Jason: "I wasn't a failed DJ. I was pre-successful"Have we talked about Jason’s stage name, “DJ Music”?
Season 1 is on Netflix.rockaction said:These are awesome quotes. I need to watch this show.
Comcast OnDemand also has a bunch on the NBC series grid.Season 1 is on Netflix.
Season 2 is probably all available at NBC’s website or Hulu.
I disagree with a lot of Jason’s decisions, but I have to admit I’m intrigued by his outlook.Leroy Hoard said:Jason: "I wasn't a failed DJ. I was pre-successful"
