The Great 2020 All Time Television Draft: The Simpsons is judged the greatest show of all time (1 Viewer)

I would vote to just keep the draft order and picking as your turn comes up.
I agree. It would just be nice if we could tighten up the skips a little (so we don’t lose a whole weekend or so people don’t time out multiple times in a row).

Weekends are for relaxing.  I'm not sure worrying about pace on the weekends is really that important.  I had pierogis.  I experienced food coma.  Drafting just didn't seem important somehow.

I know. I’m just salty watching a couple big pick dumps go right before I’m up.

This is where I am as well.  The one or two/day doesn't work as well for these judged drafts, and people are still getting sniped 1/2 way through this thing.

I just wish we could have better communication on the people who want a shorter timer, or who has missed a few picks and maybe should be on a shorter timer.

But if those picks were made when they should have been made then those choices are gone anyway.  Its not like people are getting extra picks before you are due to go.

Agreed - I just like to wallow in my saltiness for a while. People at the top half of the draft got their picks in beforehand, I was just hoping to sneak mine in too.

We'll walk by night,
We'll fly by day,
Moonlighting strangers
Who just met on the way

33.14: Moonlighting (theme), Theme Song

Not only does Al Jarreau knock the vocals out the park, but you gotta love that finger-pickin' jazz guitar. Then the harmonica comes in halfway through and just smooths it all the way out.

Dads are going fast, time to take one of my favorites. Yo Mama selects:

33.16 - Hal Wilkerson - TV Dad

Before he was the meth-cooking king of New Mexico, Bryan Cranston was nominated for three emmys for his iconic role of the dad in Malcolm in the Middle.

He was the wacky dad unembarrassed to be clad only in his tidy whities, unafraid to try any zany scheme, terribly afraid of his wife (often bribing the boys to take the blame for his mishaps) while willing to defend her against everyone, including his own family. He was the good cop parent who often snuck out with the boys to partake in their mischief and bail them out of whatever trouble they got into.

Awesome tv dad!

Ok, I only have one left on my list that I feel strongly about since Emmett Otter got taken.

33.15:  OLIVE, THE OTHER REINDEER  (holiday special)

LINK to show in case you haven't seen it

Love reading this book to my kiddo now, and this was an odd little gem from Groenig's company.  Nominated for an Emmy too.

Here’s another one I’ve been thinking about taking for a while. Yo Mama selects:

34.01 - Nancy Botwin - 91-20 Leading Woman Comedy

What Walter White was for chemistry teachers and meth dealers in Breaking Bad, Nancy Botwin was for soccer mom’s and pot dealers in Weeds

Mary-Louise Parker was nominated for four golden globes (won once) and three emmys for this role.

 both these picks so hard.

34.05 TV Commercial - "Whassup" (Anheiser-Busch)

I found it annoying, but damn that commercial permeated pop-culture for a long time. How many commercials can say they changed the way we talk to each other?
