I never got that stance, but whatever. I understand more if it's a solo musician or something, but a movie or show takes 100s of other people - no need to ignore it because one person was a horrible human.

heh, I do remember it being a big deal (which is why I picked it), but I was 10 or 11, so as far as how good it was? I dunno. It did get nominated for a bunch of awards (that it didn't ultimately win)

I just got busted for scrolling through pictures of Selena Gomez recent trip to Italy.
Instead of trying to figure out how to explain that I had searched for funny images of “Italian Gomez” that I could share with people online because of an unfortunate autocorrect in a tv draft in a fantasy football message board. . .

For 20 years and 635 episodes James Arness played plain-speaking U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon, who keeps the peace over a wide territory from his perch in Dodge City, Kansas, a rough-and-tumble town where prospectors, farmers, bounty hunters, outlaws, and the occasional lunatic pass through. Matt was steadfast, honest, absolutely incorruptible, and dedicated to the cause of bringing genuine law and order to the violent and untamed American West. He rarely acted in an impetuous manner and he was invariably fair and impartial in the performance of his duties, even when it required subordinating his personal views concerning people or incidents. Because of Arness's large (6 foot, 7 inches) physical presence, most of Matt's adversaries seemed overmatched unless there were several of them. Marshal Dillion was one bad hombre too. During his 20 year run, he was shot no less than 56 times, knocked unconscious 29 times, stabbed on three occasions, and poisoned once.

Since 1996, he has served as the play-by-play announcer for the World Series, each year, with the exceptions of 1997 and 1999.

It will be interesting to see how a lot of these recent streaming/cable shows do. It's gotten so fragmented and large that we get Midge Maisel picked fairly early, and some people went "who?". It's not like the older days, where everyone knew who Fonzie was, even if you weren't a fan of the show.
