I can see a dividing line forming here between the CBS people who watched Guiding Light and As the World Turns, and the NBC people who correctly watched Days of Our Lives or the ABC people who correctly watched General Hospital. The Young and the Restless must have been on PBS.

I really need to get back into the habit of listening to music. I meant to listen to the playlist yesterday, but then accidentally let it keep slipping from my mind. Oh, well, fortunately there’s multiple days! Anyway, time again for the classic M-AD categories. Well, sort of. The “didn’t know” is currently readjusted to “hadn’t heard before”, to cover songs I know but versions I didn’t as well as completely new experiences.

OK, not much time for one of my trademarked previews of tomorrow's lists, but here's just a little:
- As mentioned we have our first Who Wore It Better? !!! The song that will come up twice from two different artists is

- As you know, we have two lists that comprise only songs from the same covered artist. We know that one is Abba. The other will become evident tomorrow. Will it be me, with Daniel Johnston? DrIanMalcolm with Bull Moose Jackson? All right, don't be dumb. But there are several artists that look like a good possibility here.
- We have a new cover of a song that was selected as a Last Five Out and almost made my top 31. And a coverer showing up already for the second time in the top 31, but for a different song. And some other stuff that I know will be fun.

I'm late on listening to playlist 1, but I did finish listening to the songs. I love You're No Good, and both versions of Whiskey River are 
. Susie Q, Der Kommisar, Venus, and Obsession covers I know well, and I like them all.
I enjoyed the HSAS version of Whiter Shade of Pale, which is probably my all time favorite song.
I also enjoyed Peter Wolf's version of Gloomy Sunday.
Daydream in Blue was new to me and I loved it.
I liked both PJ covers of It's OK and Baba O'Riley. Both versions were live and glimpses of why PJ has loyal concert followers.
A House is Not a Motel was really good, and new to me in general.
I wonder if Rod has heard the Revolting Cocks version of Do Ya Think I'm Sexy.
I dug that Apeman performance by Hayley Jane and the Primates. They look fun live.
I'm considering playing Misty Mountains for my cat Archie in his meditation room.
Way Down in the Hole will be added to my Sunday revival playlist.
I'm not familiar with Voulez Vous, but Boy George can sing.
Disturbed's version of The Sound of the Silence was good. I kept waiting for some electric guitars to suddenly burst out, but they kept it tame.
I hope being a big fan of 99 Problems isn't going to give me 99 problems.
Joan Jett is the perfect artist for covering Dirty Deeds.
Mozambique has Jimmy and Emmylou in it, so I knew I'd like it.
Big Ten Inch Record is a swinging good time.
Jealous Guy is a really nice cover.
I like Huey's lively cover of Hank's Honky Tonk Blues. I especially love the rolling piano part.
Mama Said Knock You Out made me hold on tightly to my cross necklace.
I've never heard a bad cover of Don't Leave Me This Way.
Working in the Coal Mine is cool.
I like this guitar driven version of Smooth Criminal, and they can even get as high pitched as Michael on the Woos!
Don is challenging me once again with song titles I have to keep looking at to spell. Pai E Filho is perty.
Superwoman is super good.
I think I like this version of Funky Town better than the original.
Neil's All Along the Watchtower cover is all about the
for me.
Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Your Grievances is a good way to start the day.
