Just an FYI - the power is out at my house, has been out since like 9:30 this morning.  Some transformer cables blew out since we're in the midst of a heat wave.  I went to the office to get some work done but once I go home I may not have power this evening.  Our electric company is projecting tomorrow morning for the power to be restored.  If I come up in the meantime, feel free to skip me.

I hope you got your power back. My internet was down yesterday some and today. Had it looked at today, and was told it was fine. It went out again an hour ago, and is back on again.

Never heard it called a whirly pop but I guess it fits.  Mine's a Theater II popper which works by the same basic principle.
