Sorry about that. I suppose should have known you’d be looking at the Townes too.Don sniped me on both my songs this morning. I had to hit delete twice.
Oh darn it that’s what I get for not checking. I’ll edit it.Firework was selected in our first pass through, so already on the playlist if you have an alternate selection.
Ya snooze ya lose. The song "America" by Neil will always remind me of my family going to a resort in Florida in the early 80s. My parents did Amway for a few years as a side hustle in the late 70s/early 80s, and some time during the early 80s they packed up the family to go to an Amway Convention. I was running around with my siblings and some other kids (teens), and we peeked into a big convention room one night, and we saw all of the adults dancing and singing to America by Neil Diamond. It was really loud. I remember the motivational speaker Zig Zigler was speaking that night, and I guess he was in there too blowing the roof off the place. OMG, I just remembered that they cheered on my dad to shave off his mustache. They talked about how you can't trust salespeople with staches, and for those with a mustache to come up and shave it off, and my dad did! It was like some type of baptism. It was an Amtism.Sorry about that. I suppose should have known you’d be looking at the Townes too.Don sniped me on both my songs this morning. I had to hit delete twice.
I thought for sure when the 4th of July category first came up you would pick Neil's "America." You're slipping.Of course I picked Katy Perry. But how did I not even THINK of Neil Diamond? Something is obviously very wrong.
It seems so. Especially since I was listening to a bunch of his stuff just two days ago.I thought for sure when the 4th of July category first came up you would pick Neil's "America." * Don, will you move the song "Sun Up" that I picked a few days ago by Chatham County Line into the instrumental category? I didn't know back then that there would be an instrumental category, and it probably fits better there. Thanks.
A double dose! It's a natural 1:37 rise and shine stimulant.I added it there; kept in “sun” too.* Don, will you move the song "Sun Up" that I picked a few days ago by Chatham County Line into the instrumental category? I remember this from growing up. My father and stepmother had a cassette with the Rocky Mountain High album on one side and the Some Days Are Diamonds album on the other.
Loved these.King Tuff - Raindrop Blue
