Round 18 New Killer Star - David Bowie

A Non-native New Yorker but he plays the part well. Bowie had a heck of a career when you consider even his post-2000 records were relevant and showed him still on his game.
In addition to 2003 being the year, I think you mean Round 19. You just picked round 18 a page or two ago. The National was your Round 18 pick. Don't ask me why that caught my eye, but it did.

I'm heading out tomorrow for my first adventure since early March.  By Saturday morning I'll be in a place without internet or phone service.  Can you imagine!?!  I'll try to make tomorrow's picks and even sneak Saturday morning's in, but then I won't be around until Tuesday night.

This is all my way of saying tonight might be full of italicized lyrics.

It tweaks my OCD to choose an even round first in the morning and then an odd one at night.  :bag:

Crimson and clover
Over and over...So come on, Davey, sing me something that I know
I always wanna feel like part of this was mine

That's the best sometimes
For sure.

It's the woods! What do you see?
In all the spooky shadows, in the forest of green
Is there a windy path, angry ### woman who will eat you?
Sad-eyed lumberjack, savior who will greet you?
It's a different story for you and for me
Go to the woods and see

In the past, I liked doing things in even numbers even though my good luck number is 37.  I've broken that somewhat. I no longer make it a point to do things in even numbers, but I still avoid #9 like the plague. Today I got a new debit card in the mail, and the number on the back is 999. I was like WTF.

You should "lose" it.

I insist that TV, radio, etc. volumes have to be on 0, 2, 3, 5, 7, or 8.  No freaking 1, 4, 6, or 9.  I mean, who would put it on those numbers?  Crazy people, that's who.

Tonight's a George night.  When working on my new post-Beatles rankings, I put everything I liked at least moderately well on an initial playlist.  Over 200 on Paul's initial list and over 90 on George's.  Then I shuffle play for days and days to cut down further before starting to put songs in tiers and then a general initial order.  But each time, on my days of random shuffles, Spotify has really, really wanted me to listen to one song in particular.  For George, it is "Pisces Fish".  Spotify desperately wants this to make my list.

Are you a Pisces?

9 is cool. multiply any single digit number by 9 and the product will always add up to 9. Or do that counting thing on your fingers for multiplication and it will give you the answer but in finger number form. Not sure the past one makes sense but it works

George has some observations tonight:

I never knew that life was loaded
I'd only hung around birds and bees
I never knew that things exploded
I only found it out
When I was down upon my knees
Looking for my life

🎩👍

Summer?

Try water balloon hats. Ya can even put em in the freezer over night.
I just looked up those hats, and I don't know about wearing one of those. If I pop it it is done. I don't want a bunch of sun on my face so I wear a nice sized hat, but they are so hot. When I take it off it is like a fan was just put on me. When I do landscaping at the place where I feed some feral cats and I wear a hat, a guy that works there calls me Ma Kettle. 😄

No. It is bad luck, and I'm not fond of the number six either cause it is just an upside down 9.

I don't think I've ever had a favorite number.  Maybe I can use my current sedentariness to develop stronger feelings about digits.

I don't have a favorite number; I just know some shouldn't be put into volume settings, because they're dumb and possibly evil.
