Great point, Parasite had several opportunities for naked man running around screaming and the idiot director just didn't have the vision for what the movie needed
It seemed like not everyone here liked it but if I had to pick 1 movie from the 2nd half of the decade that is mostly likely to end up in the "movie cannon" in 10,20,50 years it is Parasite. I loved how it was like 5 different movies in one and the big shifts that happen as things are revealed. The shock in the middle was one of the great WTF moments in recent movies. I am not quite on board with so many critics who already consider it one of the best movies ever made but it's a ton of fun, extremely rewatachable and full of very memorable moments.#54: PARASITE - 77PTS

This is one I wanted to rewatch, but couldn't get to everything. All i could go on was my gut reaction and remembering my feeling i liked orhers if his more and others that year more. If some of those movies weren't in contention, I didn't even consider Parasite. What did you not like about it?
I was bored the entire time. I didn't find a single character likeable (kinda the point, I know) and a single thing about the movie, its characters or the plot interesting.

Well that is the problem right there. Try it again about 9:15, make sure it’s spring or summer, but the temperature shouldn’t be any higher than 80 but definitely not below 50 either. Preferably a waning gibbous moon but I can be flexible on that point.

I wasn't and still am not a wine guy, but I laughed a lot at the scenarios. Mostly just Jack's nonchalance toward Miles' wine obsession and just wanting to get laid. Not wine, but I see that look from people as I start getting wound up about movies and other crap that people don't care about as much as I do so I can relate and thought that was funny. I think Jack's over the top flirting is funny, Miles' outbursts were funny, the golf scene, and wallet scene, etc..

When I'm "welcomed" into hell they'll usher me to it's movie theater. The marquee will say "Now And Forever Showing" and the posters on the wall will be for Midsommar, Melancholia, and The Tree Of Life.I am shocked by the reaction. I could have sworn Andy would love Midsommar.
Absolute high intensity thrill ride. I love the weird Exorcist like beginning. KG gives a great athlete performance. So much screaming. The score is a banger. I still laugh at seeing this in the theater. It was around Christmas and there were so many big families who must have just assumed since it was an Adam Sandler movie it would be perfect to bring granny and the kids too. Such interesting contrasts in this movie. It's about the homeless poor living in a rundown motel in the shadows of the Happiest Place on Earth. We as adults see it a filthy last resort for those on the edge of society but to 6 year old Moonee, it's her childhood home, the only one she's ever known and it's perfect.#50: THE FLORIDA PROJECT - 79PTS

This is in the top 10 worst movies I watched all the way through. Maybe it was just me and the mood/state I was in but I did not get it at all. I generally like Anderson a lot.
I stand by my take that its similar themes and relationships to TWWB, which is why don't get the praise for one and hatred for the other. Punch-Dunk, Licorice Pizza, and Inherent Vice i understand people not liking more.

I was able to understand character's motivations and the plot made sense. Neither of those things happened for me on The Master - it actually felt like torture. So that's how I, personally, can like one and not the other.

I won't go that far but yeah KP knows that I consider some of PTA;s movies to be masterpiecces and some his movies to be unbearable. The Master falls into that latter category for me unfortunately.

I haven't I am interested just because of how bad it's supposed to be but it's pretty hard to see. Coppola actually came here to our local museum which has a huge IMAX screen in the spring to some Q&As and show the movie. I wanted to go, see Coppola but the thing sold out really fast.
Guy wasted several family generations of money on it too. Something like $130 million plus whatever he spent to market it. Costner did a similar thing with his Horizons movies.
