Was in my top 70.
Little House on the Prairie was one that just missed my cut and I saw all of them. Great show back in the 70’s as a latch key kid.

Glad to see The Chosen make the list.
For those that don't know, it is based on the life of Jesus during the three years with his disciples and really focuses on the disciples as characters. It takes some creative liberties with their lives and relationships, but is fairly Biblically accurate and includes some heavy material and excellent historical accuracy as far as the customs of the time. Most well done Biblical show ever made, IMO.
Probably little too niche based on its initial platform (Angel Studios; had to download their app on your phone AND smart TV to watch it at first). Now it is included on Amazon Prime, at least the first 2 seasons.
ETA: I had it at #16 and I'm guessing the other person had it fairly high to crack the top 300 with just 2 of us.

Just trying to figure out where I fall on the spectrum. I didn't watch a ton of TV in my youth or as a young unadult. To the point that I struggled to think of 50 shows that I watched to make my list. We are 80 shows in, and I have never watched a minute of 60 of them. And I have never heard of about half of those. Does this make me atypical? Clueless? Oblivious?

I've only heard of about 60% of the shows and haven't watched a second of 75% of them.
Television is a huge genre and we are currently in niche/mid territory with some of these.

It's legit brilliant at times. The subtle mocking but understanding of the conflicting mentality of Sheldon's mom and dad and the struggle of the siblings to cope with a douchebag but genius brother is very well done. For a network show, I found it smart and funny pretty much every episode.

I don’t know a good chunk of the shows here either as I’m not much of a series watcher anymore. That’s why a substantial proportion of my list comes from my younger couch potato days when the entertainment options were much more limited.

I, Claudius was #8 on my list. The production quality is very poor by today's standards (the sets, costumes, and makeup in particular). The acting is great if you can accept that it's more stage acting than screen acting, the cast is loaded with great actors. Derek Jacobi is obviously the feature, but Sian Phillips and John Hurt are particularly good in this. The story is as good as it gets. I also have the DVD set and have watched it so many times.
It's also why Jacobi keeps getting cast in all things Roman Empire in case you were wondering - he's a human memberberry.

All of this is true and in retrospect, it should have been on my list. It was hard for me to consider spin-offs - I think I only ranked one.

I had Black Sails at 33 on my list. Very entertaining escapism adventure. I like the attempt to comingle Treasure Island with actual legendary pirates. Credulity is strained on occasion, and it is a bit more woke than I think things were during the era depicted, but neither of those were enough to really hamper my enjoyment.
And some of the scenes on the ocean are awesome in terms of cinematography and effects.

I doubt very much The Goodies makes this list.
I had it at #75 and it was great fun when i was younger, but i rewatched it as an adult and it doesnt hold up as well.
There are some absolutely brilliant episodes, but lots of stinkers as well.

The awkwardness of situations and stupid decision making.
This show isn’t about the prom king, the cool kids or even the nerds.
Just 4 low achieving guys who navigate the journey into adulthood with complete humiliation at every turn.
The parental interactions are also frighteningly frank and cut deep.
Loved this show so much. They even made 2 successful movies, such was the popularity of the show

King of the Hill feels right here.
Good not great for a long time. Hank Hill was based on a Beavis and Butthead character for those that don't know.

Two more from my list here.
Dallas - my #60 - I mainly had this ranked where I did due to the cultural phenomenon of the show. The whole Who Shot JR? cliffhanger captured the country’s attention like few other TV moments.
The Rockford Files - my #67 - if any show represented the word “cool” when I was younger, it was this one.

Nova would have been top 10 for me. Love it, watched it last night.
Rockford files was a good pull. Very nostalgic for me as my parents loved it, and I used to watch with them. I tried watching some episodes a few years ago and it's a'ight. Great theme song though.

I ranked Rockford at #41. I rewatched four episodes to make sure it held up. I'm happy to say that mostly it did, thanks to the charm of James Garner and his chemistry with a strong supporting cast of regulars. The episodes varied in quality and took some major shortcuts to wrap up the case in an hour but that's pretty much the case for all detective shows.

I had Weeds and The Real World one spot apart just as in the consensus, but at #53 and #54 on my list. I just realized I must be a closet Justin Kirk fan, since he was a star of Weeds as well as my #13, Angels in America. Anyway, The Real World is on there in part because I was addicted to it for 8-9 seasons at the very beginning, and in part because it was groundbreaking. Weeds was just damn good, hilarious TV, with a fantastic role by Kevin Nealon.

Well it's like the counterexample of that scene in Auf Wiesersehen Pet where they get into a fight in a bar, and I know it is somewhat correct as I have drunk in the same place and definitely recall being in Düsseldorf at the time, where the series was set. Whereas in A Trip To Warwick, it looked like if anywhere it was filmed in York. Certainly not anywhere near where they were pretending to be. It's just something I find personally amusing

From 240-211 not much that stands out for me. I watched a lot of Flintstones back in the day.
Watched first season or so of Yellowstone, and then it kinda jumped the shark for me. The episode where the veterinarian performed emergency surgery on costner for GI bleed, based on an x ray.....none of that **** would've ever happened. His daughter was too much also.....lost interest.
