Another strike out from me. None on my list and I don't think I have watched any of these except for a few Rockford Files way, way back in the day.

I watched Dallas every week with my parents when I was 7-11 or so years old, which, in retrospect, is weird and something that never would have happened when my kids were that age. It was an important show but I almost couldn't include it because of the travesty of the reboot on TNT a few years back.

3 more down for me.
After Life- Was thinking this would have cracked the 200 easily. Very surprised only 3 of us ranked it. LOL one minute and balling the next.
Rockford Files- loved the show as a kid and still watch it at night to this day. Big crush on Beth when I was young.
Bates Motel- Another one I thought would garner more votes.

I figured you were one of the 3 for Damages. Wasn't there a thread on it here?

I would have had several Ken Burns docs on my list if I had done it.
Yeah, there was a thread for it. I remember you being active in it.

Ken Burns does have a lot of great documentaries.

230Ken Burns' The Vietnam War3

These two were on my list, and I ranked both pretty high. I ranked Damages #7, and Ken Burns' The Vietnam War at #13. Damages was a great drama/thriller series, and Glenn Close was fantastic as the merciless lawyer Patty Hewes. I loved that show. Ken Burns' The Vietnam War is my favorite documentary series based on a war.

I realize this may be an unpopular opinion, but I don't really like Ken Burns's stuff. I recognize he's good at what he does - but goodness gracious can we cut it down a bit?

I'd like to know the important things about the Vietnam War. Not every detail you could ever want to know about Vietnam the country from the beginning of time until present day.

Lots of us liked The Rockford Files, but not very much :lmao:

And King of the Hill. I thought more people liked it.

I'm interested in hearing about Bates Motel. Considering adding it to my streaming watchlist.
I'd like to help you Scores, but my mind isn't super clear to give you a rundown. I know my wife and I loved watching it and were thinking of going back for a refresh when we were talking about this thread.

King of the Hill feels right here.

Good not great for a long time. Hank Hill was based on a Beavis and Butthead character for those that don't know.

I'll still bust out a "fries, pie, large coffee.. you got that good buddy?" from time to time.
i still bust up when boomhauer calls 911 for the explosion.

Watched first season or so of Yellowstone, and then it kinda jumped the shark for me
I liked the show but it was beyond ridiculous how many gun fights in the city streets or murders occurred with no police involvement at all. Do they not have any laws in Montana?

Just going to reiterate to the Family Feud people that a better version of the game is on the BBC in Pointless. Instead of guessing the most popular answer, you win by coming up with the most obscure. It's more trivia-based, so instead of blindly guessing everyone else's favorite fruit to put in a pie, you're digging deep to come up with a country smaller in area than Texas that no one else thought of.

The actual show is padded out to 45 minutes by a lot of contestant interviews, but you can fast-forward on Youtube and get through the questions in a brisk 10 minutes per episode.

Burn Notice not even in the top 200?!?! Ok y'all got a do better. Is it the most high row drama? No. Is it awesome every episode? Yeah pretty much.

I think I've seen every single episode at least ten times.

I own the sunglasses from Michael Western. All around amazing. Thank God two of you also had it.
Great show

I had Young Sheldon at 55 and Family Feud at 60.

The hipsters hate everything from the Chuck Lorre universe, but we jumped on board with Young Sheldon at the beginning after being regular viewers of The Big Bang Theory, and I found the show well-written and its storylines compelling. The writers were boxed in by some of the things Sheldon had said about his background in TBBT, but they worked within those constraints admirably. And in the show's final years, it was great to see Wendie Malick and Ed Begley Jr. return to TV.

As I said before, Family Feud's Richard Dawson and Steve Harvey are two of the best game show hosts we have ever had. They ooze personality and play off the guests spectacularly. Especially when the survey questions are ridiculous, as they often are. This is not a game show I take seriously like Jeopardy! I watch for the entertainment and its first and current eras have delivered that in spades. (The other hosts are meh, which is why this was not higher.)

Only Murders in the Building was a major oversight on my part. The first season was one of the funniest AND one of the most suspenseful things I have ever seen. Subsequent seasons haven't been as good, but it's still a winning formula and the chemistry between Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez is fantastic.

I have fond memories of watching This Week in Baseball as a kid but it never crossed my mind to consider it for my list.

I saw plenty of Flintstones episodes. They are fine in small doses but the Honeymooners shtick wears thin for me.

Have not seen anything else in this group.

Ren and Stimpy was groundbreaking animation. Loved The Young Ones.
We're watching Bob's Burgers for the first time. In the middle of S7. I've heard there's a dropoff after S8...is that true?
Bob's Burgers question, as I've only ever watched a couple of episodes (they were funny, I just never went back for no reason)...

Archer did a crossover episode where the Bob's Burgers people showed up. Did it happen in the other direction too? Was there a Bob's Burgers episode where the Archer people showed up?
I don't think so, but there is this fan made short

I would've stayed more interested had they not made it so ridiculous, and dramatic. Not a huge costner fan either. His bravado has always been cheesy to me.

One of the few shows my wife and I watch together. Still.

The Pearson Big Three resent this ranking. Although I'm a blood and violence type of television guy, This Is Us softened my dark heart and gave me hope. Ha ha

I'm the other bus wanker and so I had The Inbetweeners ranked at #18.
The IT Crowd ranked #16 for me.
Ren & Stimpy #26 - they had me at the log commercial and always remember kids . . . "Don't whizz on the electric fence!"
Magnum, P.I. #38
Batman: The Animated Series #51
Rockford Files #59
Lol
Of all the quites from the show its odd to me thats the one that got picked up here
May as well put some context on it

Its the interplay between the 4 and mocking banter that resonates well with me. Its so brutal at times.

Nice! I was worried The Tick might not make it. #54 on my list, but now thinking I maybe should have had it higher. Spoon!

So far I've had Top Gear (#68), The Fresh Prince (#57), The Tick, Batman the Animated Series (#24), Late Night with Conan O'Brien (#19), and Loki (#12). Malcom in the Middle, Family Feud, and Boy Meets World would have been in my next 10.

I had King of the Hill at #69. It was one of my last-minute replacements after it was revealed on some 46-51 lists. It was written very well, and gave you plenty of opportunities to both mock the characters and identify with them. Hank continually asking the Laotian neighbor if he's Japanese or Chinese sends me.

Also, the house we lived in between 2007 and 2012 had propane heat, so I must have annoyed my wife by saying "proPANE and proPANE accessories" in Hank's voice a squillion times.

I saw quite a few Rockford Files episodes in reruns and have always liked James Garner, but I didn't consider it for my list.

My wife and son watch NOVA sometimes but I generally don't.

I watched the Who Shot JR episode like the rest of the country, but otherwise I didn't see much of Dallas. That the entire country could be transfixed by a TV episode that wasn't the Super Bowl seems so foreign now.

Have not seen the others.

King of the Hill is another that probably makes my Top 100 but just not good enough to make my final cut

To be fair I didn’t actually rank my Top
100, so possibly it would have been even further down. It’s in that good but not great category for me

Bates Motel and The Rockford Files were on my list. I always meant to get around to watching Weeds, but still haven't yet. Bates Motel had a good cast. The main characters were very well done by the actors. The show was creepy, suspenseful, and I never got bored watching it. The Rockford Files is a classic that I watched in the 70s. I've always liked James Garner.

I had Weeds and The Real World one spot apart just as in the consensus, but at #53 and #54 on my list. I just realized I must be a closet Justin Kirk fan, since he was a star of Weeds as well as my #13, Angels in America. Anyway, The Real World is on there in part because I was addicted to it for 8-9 seasons at the very beginning, and in part because it was groundbreaking. Weeds was just damn good, hilarious TV, with a fantastic role by Kevin Nealon.
Justin Kirk was hilarious on Weeds. Loved it when he wore that shirt “Let’s get ch’ai”
