An award-winning investigative newspaper doesn't work like the right wing media does. There is no equivalency. The nation's ultra conservative wing has looked bad under the light of professional reporting because of its actions, not because of any bias.Consider the source. Reality is much closer to 0.5%
Good luck trying to get this message through. An award-winning investigative newspaper doesn't work like the right wing media does. There is no equivalency.
Well since we're just making stuff up, I say it's closer to 500%!Consider the source. Reality is much closer to 0.5%
The descent of a large portion of the electorate into perpetual disbelief of reality has been pretty amazing to observe. And one way it's really gotten crazy has been this thinking that Fox or Gateway Pundit just throwing crap out there that they think their viewers/readers want to see/read is the exact same thing as WaPo sending teams of skilled reporters to investigate the actions of those in governmental power.Good luck trying to get this message through.
As big as he is we could make so much glue out of him that we could keep pangea together again.I understand that but the process of removing a president from office takes a huge toll on the country and will only further divide us. It took years for the country to heal after Watergate. I wasn't a big fan of Reagan but he did manage to pull the country to together again.
But hey...CNN retracted that story once and fired 3 guys because it was "fake news"...never mind that the story actually was true and they were fired only for policy issues on sourcing and none of the story was actually fake...but hey...fake news!!!!The descent of a large portion of the electorate into perpetual disbelief of reality has been pretty amazing to observe. And one way it's really gotten crazy has been this thinking that Fox or Gateway Pundit just throwing crap out there that they think their viewers/readers want to see/read is the exact same thing as WaPo sending teams of skilled reporters to investigate the actions of those in governmental power.

He purchases the Playboy mansion and makes it into his Presidential library. Melania divorces him, and he spends the rest of his days wearing a red silk robe and popping Viagra.
We all should be so lucky to go out like this.
So in a poll of 1850 Americans by a source that has repeatedly proven to have a bias against our President you are going to extrapolate 65 million people have actively protested since Trump was elected? An award-winning investigative newspaper doesn't work like the right wing media does. There is no equivalency. The nation's ultra conservative wing has looked bad under the light of professional reporting because of its actions, not because of any bias.
They have not been proven to have any bias agaisnt the President. So in a poll of 1850 Americans by a source that has repeatedly proven to have a bias against our President you are going to extrapolate 65 million people have actively protested since Trump was elected?
So silly.
I'm not buying this "1 in 5 have protested in the streets or participated in political rallies since the beginning of 2016" eitherSo in a poll of 1850 Americans you are going to extrapolate 65 million people have actively protested since Trump was elected?

Ok, so what facts do you have to dispute the claim?I'm not buying this "1 in 5 have protested in the streets or participated in political rallies since the beginning of 2016" either
Yeah. It’s garbageI'm not buying this "1 in 5 have protested in the streets or participated in political rallies since the beginning of 2016" either
I just polled about 20 ppl at work and 0 have protested or participated in a political rally since 2016.Ok, so what facts do you have to dispute the claim?
Two eyes and common sense. That’s more than enough.Ok, so what facts do you have to dispute the claim?
Yes...it does seem dumb to think that your "20" people you didn't actually poll would be a statistically valid population to sample from and extrapolate results.I just polled about 20 ppl at work and 0 have protested or participated in a political rally since 2016.
Seems dumb right? So does polling 1850 people and saying the national # is 65 million. Imo
But a poll of 1850 = 65 million Americans is believable?Yes...it does seem dumb to think that your "20" people you didn't actually poll would be a statistically valid population to sample from and extrapolate results.
Well, I guess that settles it...I just polled about 20 ppl at work and 0 have protested or participated in a political rally since 2016.
Seems dumb right? So does polling 1850 people and saying the national # is 65 million. Imo
Hmmmmm.....facts or random guy on the internet's gut feeling......that's a tough one.Two eyes and common sense. That’s more than enough.
How many people do you think are generally contacted for a poll like this? But a poll of 1850 = 65 million Americans is believable?
Stop it
what would be a major story for any other rational administration doesn't even get a mention...Tim O'BrienVerified account @TimOBrien 2h2 hours ago
Don't lose sight of important @Fahrenthold scoop amid Syria, Cohen and Facebook deluge:
Trump Org lawyers wrote Panama's president, asking him to intervene in fight over POTUS's Trump International Hotel there — and warned of “repercussions” if he didn't

Id have to look at the methodology...but statistically speaking...yes. Its possible to be a statistically valid poll with 1850 people. But a poll of 1850 = 65 million Americans is believable?
Stop it
FYPHmmmmm.....facts or random Trump Supporting guy on the internet's gut feeling......that's a tough one.
Most corrupt ever!!!what would be a major story for any other rational administration doesn't even get a mention...
That talking point was gone the minute he said it. There seems to be a large lack of understanding about polling and statistical analysis (that much was shown through the discussion of polling prior to the election).President's Job Approval polls:
Rasmussen - 1500 people
Gallup - 1500
Reuters - 1519
Economist - 1340
Welp, there goes that talking point.
In their defense if you conduct your poll at Whole Foods or a hacky sack tournament you probably get different and more desired results.I just polled about 20 ppl at work and 0 have protested or participated in a political rally since 2016.
Seems dumb right? So does polling 1850 people and saying the national # is 65 million. Imo
Well, if that's what the article said, it would be silly. The trouble is, that's not what it says.So in a poll of 1850 Americans by a source that has repeatedly proven to have a bias against our President you are going to extrapolate 65 million people have actively protested since Trump was elected?
So silly.
Note 1: "since the beginning of 2016" is not "since Trump was elected".One in five Americans have protested in the streets or participated in political rallies since the beginning of 2016.
Yea...that equifax breach was nothing big.
In the 135 days since the Trump admin took control of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, it has not recorded a single enforcement action against banks, credit card companies, debt collectors or any finance companies whatsoever, AP finds.

i'm sure people are completely honest with you at work about politics.I just polled about 20 ppl at work and 0 have protested or participated in a political rally since 2016.
Seems dumb right? So does polling 1850 people and saying the national # is 65 million. Imo
A sample size of 1000 is perfectly acceptable. This is basic statistics. But a poll of 1850 = 65 million Americans is believable?

Yeah, that post bothered me, too. I think we're all pro-America, though we may have different ways of showing it.These are not mutually inclusive.
Actually they're pretty much mutually exclusive. These are not mutually inclusive.
These are not mutually inclusive.
Are you saying that anybody who isn't Pro-Trump also isn't Pro-America?
Anyone that claims Uganda, Paraguay, Iceland and Luxembourg have supplanted the US in terms of world leadership is obviously not Pro-America.
OkMcJose said:A sample size of 1000 is perfectly acceptable. This is basic statistics.
Not all, but I can safely say the pro-Trump people I know seem to be more patriotic. Are you saying that anybody who isn't Pro-Trump also isn't Pro-America?
Ok
I still don't buy that 65 million Americans have protested in the streets or participated in a political rally since '16
