The comic is so much better than the show. I've only read through issue #80 but there's no way in a million years the show can do justice to

Also, Dale was an incredible character in the comic, but awful on the show. I hope I'm not the only one who felt the casting/writing for that character was extremely underwhelming.

Kirkman really knows how to hook you. It's gotten to the point where I'm downloading the comic the minute I get home from my double shifts at work on release day.

The Glen thing was brutal, but it made sense as they had to do something big for the 100th issue. I can't wait to see what Rick and Jesus has planned for retribution.

Speaking of Jesus, I really love this new character. It's bee too long since they introduced a character that was interesting and he certainly fits the bill.

Preacher was one of my favorite series ever. Great story. Kirkman has given no indication if or when he is going to end the Walking Dead story so you may be waiting a long time before it ends.

I don't think it is you. The first three links don't seem to work for me either any more. I tried both IE and Mozilla.Download every thing else (from issue 51 on) and then go get the rest from PirateBay or some place like that. That is where all of these issues came from to begin with.

Not sure what to do about the first 3 links or what is wrong with them. Those issues were posted by Usual21

you mean its too violent? just curious, i haven't started. i'm fine with violence but nothing super extreme like crazy torture or something.Edit: Nevermind - i just googled it. That's just too brutal for me, I'm not into the whole torture, extreme violence thing.I probably won't read this after reading about that issue.

I got caught up on the issues last night and was expecting a whole lot worse with Glenn after reading these two responses. I tend to think the stuff with the Governor was way worse than Glenn.

Pay attention to this thread. I may try and zip up issues 1-50 for you and upload them if I can. If that works we can have Jamny update the first post to fix the first three links.

I didn't mind most of the violence up until then (even Carl getting shot), but this was way over the line

I thought Dale was great in the show and except for killing him off so early I thought his part was good. I thought they should have included the Dale+Andrea relationship instead of the the Andrea+Shane deal. It was much more showing of how desperate people are. But who knows, maybe her and shane would have done something similar in the comic had he not died like 50 issues before they got to the prison.

Nice start to the season. Great entry into the prison.

Looks like they're going to add more people than just the 4 from the books. Did anyone count how many they showed in the cafeteria on the show?

Will one of them be a killer? Who will die? I'm guessing it would be Maggie's sister if they do go there.

Will T-Bone get trapped in a room full on zombies, only to later emerge alive.

I used the original link again and it worked. It appears they are both working now.
