***The Walking Dead Comic book version*** (1 Viewer)

I had them on my Nook. I use Calibre to get them on there.
Can I have some more details on how to do this? If anyone else knows please PM me.Thanks!

I have a no frills nook so I don't think this is the way to go. How would I get them on iTunes as you me filmed before?
Go to the app store, search out a Comic Reader app, install it on your iphone and then follow the directions on how to import files from itunes. Every app is different but it is very simplistic.

Every app is different but it will come with directions on how to import via itunes. It will likely be via File Share. Here is how i do it with my app, it is very easy. http://comiczeal.tenderapp.com/kb/getting-comics-onto-your-device/loading-comics-using-usb-itunes-file-sharing

I have issue #109 to upload but DivShare (the site I have been using to upload) seems to have put in a file size limit of only 20mb

If anyone had any other free sites they can suggest for me to upload to please post and I will give a shot.

Thanks for posting the comics. Anyone know which comics season three of the tv show correlate with?
The group gets to the prison at issue 12.The governor makes his first appearance at issue 27. The thread runs from roughly issue 12 to issue 48ish. Note there is a ton of difference between the tv series season 3 and the comics.

Did anyone read the novels?

I just finished the first one, The Rise of the Governor. It was very good. I am definitely going to read the next one.

Did you read this one I linked below? I just saw this and was not aware of it. It looks like a short story that occurs between Rise of the Governor and Road to Woodberry. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16037337-the-walking-dead

Also, did you see the 3rd piece of the trilogy, Fall of the Governor, looks like it will be more than 1 book?

Anyone have downloadable free links for the first iPad. I got through 20 on some link here but then they shut it down. I'd look but I really don't want to learn future spoilers

Thanks

you can get them all on thepiratebay.com if the links in this thread have gone bad.

Edit: I just check a few of the links in the first post in this thread and things look fine. Try again, you should be able to get a ton of issues in the first post.

So where does the TV show go from here?

Will they skip the whole Alexandria storyline and go right to Sanctuary?

Will we see Nagin this season?

yeah, it's easier without spoiler tags to discuss. I can't imagine Nagin comes this quick, especially since they drug out the Governor. but like i mentioned in the other thread, i just hope they cast him well. i watch this horrible show on Discovery, the Devil's Ride. a few of the guys in those motorcycle gang would be great. not good actors at all, but got the look.

and going to sanctuary right now is possible, and maybe mix in some of Alexandria short pieces. I have to think they bring in Jesus somewhere, the TV crowd would go crazy for him. I wonder if they will bring in the Kingdom?

So any thoughts on the funeral home being a trap and maybe the cannibals took Beth? That would go along way to changing her mind about there still being good people in the world.

I reserve the right to be proven wrong, but I think that is kind of a ridiculous theory personally. I think it's possible the mortician took her (it looked like a hearse) and may be a bad person, maybe connected to the cannibals. But I don't think the funeral home was a trap.

I could see it being kind of a trap. I don't think they will be bad, but rather they will be crazy (or just really off). based on the preview of the little girl playing outside with the zombie and the creepy music, my thought was the girl's mom or something steals Beth so that she becomes part of their family. That is my random guess.

I wonder when Morgan will come back on the show, and think it would be a good move to have Darrell and his marauders stumble on the Morgan, and Darrell and Morgan team up.

so i happened upon this on youtube, and i think i have a good guess of what happened to Beth:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHaCYa3wxXw

the clip is just some goofballs take on the Walking Dead, but i'm going to guess Beth was kidnapped by "the hunters" and she will take the place of Dale when they cut his leg off to eat it.

also looking at some clips for next week, it looks like we may get the scene with the guys wanting to go after Carl. Could be a whole new Rick after next Sunday

So, anyone read up to 124 yet? I have.

Not sure if Kirkman will actually do what it looks like he did though.

125 had an interesting ending. Looks like this story arc is about over.
I'm not sure if that last panel was fatal or not. I'm guessing not.

But yeah, the arc ends w/ 126. Covers for 127 and 128 feature a whole bunch of never before seen characters, so no idea whats next.

I think they they drug this storyline out way too long. I did like the interactions Negan had with Carl early on (almost a respect) but I just can't get into it now. The way they tainted their blades with walker blood was an interesting twist though.

I'm eagerly awaiting Negan on the TV show. All of his dialogue would just be one long bleep.

Yea, didn't like the arc much either, especially the tainted blades. Seems like there'd be a lot more incidental infections if that were possible. The walkers are oozing with blood and open sores and make contact with these people that have all sorts of scratches and wounds.

So where would I buy more of these comics to sync up with my itunes and comic zeal app. Also, what other comic do you fbgs recommend, I'm not a big super hero guy?

It was the guy with the face tattoos that Glenn insisted they set free. He had a couple tattoos already in the flash back IMO.

Not Negan

Was that Nagen at the end of the episode?
huh? It was Morgan.
at the very end, in the rail car.
In the flashback? Why would you think that was him?
I don't know...wasn't sure. Just seemed like him.
I think it was Negan too. Seemed to have the same brovado that Negan has in the comics. I have always been a fan of Negan, just think the guy would be alright to hang with in the apocalypse. i guess the way they are starting him off is a little more uncivilized then i thought he would be.

Watched it again and still think it's him. The guy in the rail car was very tall, this guy, like Nagen, looked short and stocky.

Plus, I don't think they would let any of their attackers survive, especially the apparent leader. Or one of them.

also, Carver from The Wire will be playing Gabriel, the priest in the next episode.

huh, nice find. i didn't connect those 2 characters at all. well, i think that guy might have been able to pull it off. I thought this would be a teaser for him, and then they bring him back in like 2 seasons. I am kind of glad though because Negan wasn't all about sharing and raping everybody a bunch of times. he seemed to have a good set-up that he took advantage of.

So i guess the arc of this season will be the a few episodes with the priest. this season seems to hint at following the comic a little more (i think they mentioned this on Talking Dead), so i wonder if they will find that gated community and the guy who led them there. I think that could work for a good story line, and they set it up well with making the audience think Rick and the group shouldn't trust anybody. it has an interesting plot showing how the group has trouble living a life like that, and would be a good direction to go that wouldn't be so similar to the last few seasons. the only thing is that there seemed to be lulls in the plot at times, and i am not sure how well all of that will transfer to a TV show.

Not sure what else they could jump into if they are following the comics a little more. Too early to bring Jesus into the storyline, and they need to cast that good. The Kingdom seems like too much of a jump for right now too.

i'm only on comic #115 (book 20 of the graphic novels), so not sure if anything else past those issues stands out as a good direction they can go in right now
