Well written. Well acted. Great chemistry between the characters. Great sight gags. A famous cameo by a future HOF'er. Really good ending.

So many one-liners. Exceptional...my ###.

I think it is an all-time comedy.

Somewhere in the Really Great/Very Funny class.

Great flick. I wouldn't, but if somebody wanted to call it one of their 10 favorite comedies of all-time, I wouldn't think they are crazy or anything.

I love unexpected comedy and the scene where Stiller goes to pick up his prom date and gets pummeled by the brother had me laughing as hard as any movie I can remember.

Somewhere in between the top 2 options. Not a top 10 all-time comedy, but it'd definitely make my top 20 or 25. Very quotable flick.

All time great here. I saw it at the movie theater and it was extremely risque for the time. Awesome stuff.
I did, too, and the collective gasp from a packed theater when we see the shot of Ted's johnson caught in the zipper (no matter how fake) was just amazing.

I also saw it in the theater, and that scene brought the house down.

This reaction shot also killed: http://img2-2.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/imgs/021218/144842__11diaz_l.jpg

:goodposting:

I've only seen 2-3 movies in my life TWICE at a theater... and this is one of them.

The movie doesn't hold up as well, but I definitely think it ushered in some of the more outlandish comedies to come over the next several years like the American Pie movies.

solid movie

This is only movie that's made literally fall off my couch laughing.

I haven't seen in it in awhile, so I don't know how it holds up over time, but still it's an all-time great in my book.

So many iconic scenes. The hair gel, wieners and beans, "WE GOT A BLEEDER!" the bright perfect teeth, Brett Fav-ra, etc. All time great.

one of the wife's and my early dates. Group of us went. She really didn't want to go and she thought it would be dumb. After laughing our asses of i knew she was a keeper....

Most comedies are best viewed a lot right when they come hot and then never again. I saw this like 10 times in HS/early college and just died everytime. It probably doesn't hold up, but I don't want the memory ruined. I prefer to remember it for how funny it was, not how unfunny it has become. Reminds me, I need to see This Is The End again.

I'd give it a Really Great. For comedies it probably cracks my top 10. All-time great would be a top 5.

It definitely held up. Still hilarious. The entire scene with the hitchhiker was so good. "The guarantee is that if you're not satisfied with the first 7 minutes, we're gonna send you the eighth minute for free!"

Very good 8.5/10

So many great lines. Healy and Tucker were this movie for me.

When Tucker was giving Mary the rap sheet on Healy…….I was pissing in my pants.

"Patrick R Healy convicted of petty theft at the age of 14"

My god…..so many belly ache moments throughout.

I saw it in the theater (with a girl named Mary, no less) too. My buddy had already seen it and told me about the beans stuck in the zipper, so I was already laughing before they showed it. When they finally did, I fell on the floor laughing. Hardest I've ever laughed at a movie.

The movie doesn't hold up as well
This is my problem with putting it in the All-time best category - I can't put a movie in that category if I have no desire to rewatch it. I'd watch select scenes and clips but I don't want to watch it all over again. It does have some fantastic scenes and quotes though.
