This can definitely be made 10x better. I make these at home occasionally. The eggs at McDonalds are always way overcooked, and I'd prefer a sharp cheddar over American cheese.

I saw a documentary on the origins of both companies, interesting how things turned out in the long run. Personally I always thought Hydrox could have used a better name, not one that sounds like a bleach or cleaning agent.

They still make Hydrox. Had some a year ago. I may be in the minority, but I really enjoyed Hydrox more than Oreos. Hydrox have a deeper chocolate flavor and a richer (not sweeter) cream.

That's its own thread though.
