Tiger Woods (2 Viewers)

Not sure if what I meant was clear.  I agree with you that he's been a drama queen who fakes pain when he's playing awful.  I just think he's been at rock bottom so long that he doesn't need to put on that show anymore.  Nobody still believes excruciating pain is the only thing keeping him from being competitive, and he knows it.
This is the same guy that "popped his wrist back in" right?  I'm not sure he knows it.

Trump's swing isn't pretty, but he generates really good power for an old guy.  I haven't seen too many non-professional 70 year olds with a better swing than that.  I can easily see him being a 3 handicap if his short game is good.  I'm sure he's not playing 7000 yard tees though.
Yeah, but all you gootta do is cut the hamstring on the back of his right leg at the bottom. He'll never play golf again, because his weight displacement goes back, all his weight is on his right foot, and he'll push everything off to the right. He'll never come through on anything. He'll quit the game.

I don't think so based on what I saw.  He hit 4 fairways today and missed a buNch of them right.  His swing looks pretty bad. I don't see a 66 on a course like this (even the north) anytime soon.

Faldo kept talking about him wanting to hit a draw.  No chance with how much he is flying open.  Short game and putting looked good enough, but he's got to find the fairway

Seriously. His face is shut going back and then he's so far in front of it it's ridiculous.

Maybe he can start a new tradition and wear red on fridays to try and make cuts.Tiger can easily shoot a 66 today or an 80,my bet is closer to 80 the way he is hitting off the tee.Still wonder why he just doesn't play short off the tee with an iron to compensate for how terrible he is with anything else?

On a blustery day here at Torrey Pines, Tiger started his round on the North Course by spraying his opening drive, but scrambled to save par.

someone should maybe tell this guy they started on 10 and that TIger actually scrambled for a birdie...#trumpfacts

I thought it was a fade Faldo kept harping on.

I'm watching this in Nicaragua...they are calling him 'El Tigre'.  Shouldn't they just call him 'Tiger'?  They are call Phil 'Phil'.

Tiger's getting on a plane to Dubai.  He will miss it by at least 4 shots.

His long game has a ways to go.  He is awful off the tee and the iron play is inconsistent.  His short game looks good though.

Sounds like the same tiger from before this latest layoff.  Shame

I know this is where we wish bad things for Tiger Woods and celebrate his failures, but also worth noting that Jason Day and Dustin Johnson also didn't make the cut. It's not like Tiger is in terrible company.

Just saying I liked the way he was rolling the ball. Short game fine. Rough killed him from being off on his drives. Won't hurt him at Augusta.  You'll never get better odds. He'll get in sync

Not sure as his backswing on his driver looked shorter, tighter and slower...a better version of mine.

+3 on the easy nine in round one.

Looks out of sync.

The Masters is a pipe dream.  I wouldn't bet it at 100 to 1.  Throwing money away.

I was being hyperbolic.  I would too, obviously.  The point is that Tiger is no threat whatsoever to contend at Augusta.  He just shot 5 over on cupcake golf course and looked awful doing it.

Easy course for him normally with good playing conditions and still couldn't get it together at any point. #WearRedOnFridays

Was really hoping he would look decent but so far the best we can hope for is him getting a few hookers and going on a bender to get his game right.

This will be the last year that Tiger is exempt to play in the US Open.  I bet he misses as many as he plays from here on out.

He also does not meet the criteria to play in this year's PGA, but they reserve the right to invite anyone, so he will no doubt play in that tourney whenever he wants.

The world No 666, making only his third competitive start since having 16 months out following back problems, failed to register a single birdie on his way to slipping 12 strokes adrift of early leader Sergio Garcia.

Not surprisingly,  he withdraws from Dubai with back spasms.

Agent goes to great lengths to note that it is different than nerve pain he felt before.

I honestly don't know if that's better or worse.

Still feels like it's over.
