Tiger Woods (4 Viewers)

Now that a couple of weeks have passed, and the various associations have come out with their "official" positions on the ruling, it seems more clear that the rules were totally bent to keep El Tigre in the tourney."He signed an incorrect scorecard based solely on ignorance of the rule, but because we didn't save him from his own ignorance, he isn't dq'd."Pathetic.But the rule didn't change. Carry on...
Someone really should have held you as a baby.
Good one.

Glad he got special treatment. Much more fun watching him lose another major that he was the favorite in, than to have him disqualified controversially.

What is the genesis of the Nantz/Tiger mutual dislike? Nantz seems affable enough.
Tiger is well known as a complete ####, haven't heard anything bad about Nantz.
Nantz ran over my foot with a golf cart at Sawgrass ('88 Players - I was a volunteer there for 3 years when I was stationed @ Mayport). Dante Pastorini hopped out of the passenger seat and apoligized profusely & repeatedly. Nance just smirked.:shrug:True story, but other than his ugly divorce a few years back - he might have forgotten he hadn't filed for divorce he started dating a woman 21 years younger - he seems like your average NY/CT master of the universe making 8 figures.

Jim Nantz is an ######

I didn't realize he actually said anything, let alone in a televised interview. Tiger should just punch him in the mouth in the locker room once and for all. Such a little baby.

So Tiger pulls a club and the crowd cheers? Did he pull a club that indicated he was going to go for the green? Why would they cheer?I've played 50 tournaments in my life. You pull clubs, get a drink of water, even take practice swings (silently) while another player is playing if you are far enough away and out of his line of vision.

It's a gentleman's game AJ. I would expect you, of all people, to know this.
Im not saying do it on the course. And that gentlemens game nonsense is a lie perpetuated my delusional good ol boys and people with something to sell.

If Tiger had any class he'd appreciate that the only right move here is to withdraw. For the sake of the game

People really need to stop using this word.

Sergio is the biggest cry baby in sports. Sounds like Tiger did mostly take the high road. Not taking the high road would have been to sit down and have some fun the writers going through how many times Sergio has blamed Tiger for his shortcomings and then moving on to how many times he's blamed other players, the gallery, his ex-girlfriend, and finally, everybody's favorite, "other."

Gary Player would have told Sergio to shove that stupid complaint up his ###...and he was the epitome of 'class act'.

Sergio had a good 2 - 3 seconds to step back and gather himself or let the crowd subside.

And it wasn't as though the crowd was roaring like the 18th on masters Sunday.

Sergio just building drama and I don't see any reason Tiger needs to apologize. If anyone should apologize or make a statement it should be the official that told Tiger he is out and safe to play. It all started with his mistake.

Cannot believe that people are calling Tiger a class act. That is like calling Vick an animal lover.
:whoosh:
His sarcasm meter is broke
Read the comment by Otis. My sarcasm meter is just fine thank you.
:mellow:Do you know what sarcasm means?
Wait.....he truly believes that Tiger should withdraw? Guess my sarcasm meter truly is broke.

I anticipate a case of the yips coming on for Sergio, leading to some visible frustration and the more boozed up spectators perhaps starting to get on his case, Bethpage style. This will all come to a head in his post-round interview after signing for a 75 where he debuts the quivering lip and blames a bartender in the clubhouse for standing on the wrong side of the bar when he walked through last night for his inability to win the tournament.

If Tiger had pulled a 4 wood instead of a 3 or 5 wood, the crowd wouldn't have made a peep.

How many times have we seen Tiger stop his swing mid-way through the stroke because of a crowd disturbance? Maybe Sergio should learn how to do that.

Sergio missed a couple makable birdie putts. He's going to meltdown post round.
He missed another. Oh my. Who the #### will he blame it on this time?Tiger is absolutely on fire. Just perfect swings, fairways and greens. Very impressive.
