Tiger Woods (1 Viewer)

Dude was walking to his car like he had his 9-iron shoved up his ### sideways. :lmao:
You seem pretty obsessed with him.

Almost to the unhealthy side.
Just loving the fact that he will not break Nicklaus' record of majors AND that the Woods pole huggers have all disappeared like the Tebow pole lickers did.
I don't understand why people root for others to fail. Did Tiger steal a girlfriend or kill a loved one? In that case, I understand it.

I'm pulling for Tiger, hate to see that his body is letting him down. Kid was on his way to being the best ever.

The personal stuff, meh, everyone makes mistakes and deserves forgiveness. Like I said, I don't recall him killing anyone.

Still rooting for the magic to return. These other golfers are pretty good. But Tiger at his best is magic. It's a sad, hard, depressing world sometimes and we all could use a little magic.

You can do it Tiger.

:goodposting: I just laugh at these old men rooting for him to fail as if it somehow directly effects their life.. These are the same guys that are probably 30+ pounds overweight, have a nagging wife #####ing at them to get off the couch, and can only dream about pulling tail half as hot as the ones Tiger can.
I thought Otis liked Tiger?

We're comparing Tiger to Tebow now? There are a lot of weird threads here, but outside anything Patrick Bateman starts after 11pm or most of datonn's stuff this one takes the cake.

His body is breaking down. The number of ailments he has are increasing, and you have to wonder whether the pursuit of pure physical fitness may have contributed to that. I know Hank Haney said he thought Tiger going through Navy Seal training was a mistake.
That and the other things he did to his body....

:lmao:

This Tiger guy is pretty good.
really? at what?

:lmao: Perfectly clear now.

Also, that bold statement sure looks like the same one that was posted by someone in one of the tebow threads a year or so ago.

It is well documented that I can't stand Tiger and hope he never wins again, but I have no problem with him withdrawing from this tournament yesterday. Once he knew he had no chance of winning, why risk further damaging your back? We all know that it's all about the majors for Tiger at this point. With the Masters coming up, he needs to get his back right.

Here's a question for the Toger/golf fans....

Would Tiger rather have ten wins this season without a major, or just one win with it being a major?

I don't root for Tiger to fail because I hate Tiger.

I root for Tiger to fail because I hate the bleeping way the networks and media fawn all over his every move.

"Tiger, twelve shots off the lead, has elected to go with the granola bar over the piece of fruit as he waits for the 14th green to clear. Meanwhile, let's go to the tape and see which of the leaders has gotten themselves in trouble on 3."

I root for Tiger to fail the same way I root against the Yankees, Man U,cowboys and so forth.

Tiger wants a major.
Tiger wants five majors; everything else is pretty much irrelevant. So, he needs at least one this year, because the clock is ticking. He pulls in over $50 million a year, and ten wins would only amount to about 25% of that.

Don't you know. If you ever pulled for him or thought he was a great golfer and had the talent to come back that you are a pole hugger?

A coworker called it on Friday. I suggested that he looked like he might not have taken a full swing with a club between Torrey and the Honda. That his offseasons are becoming real offseasons, where he no longer continues to workout every day or prepare for the first events of the year as if they're Majors. He doesn't do that as a rule anymore. His comment was that a 38 year old putting that kind of torque on his lower back is likely to tweak it if it's not kept as loose as physically possible. Sounds like he was right.

Of course he would rather have the majors...especially at this point in his career.

Maybe another time he would have been ok with the 10 wins...while still pissed he didn't get a major...but he doesn't have that kind of time now.

Nothing personal, but he's swinging a golf club. Most of the FFA guys who shoveled snow this year put more torque on their back.

That's not true. Most FBGs would break themselves swinging at 120 mph.

Shoveling snow a handful times of year is a lot different than swinging a golf club every single day.

I think the back problem cannot be overlooked. Father Time is undefeated when it comes to making once-immortal athletes look mortal.

Not really, but ok.

Why do you hate black people?

Tiger is so damned dramatic, I'm sick of it.

What other golfer plays with such a visibly painful injury? He's either The Strongest and Most Courageous Man In The World or a drama queen. Since he loves swinging out of his shoes in the rough when he's healthy, I'm going with the latter.

Well then maybe he's doing it (golf) wrong.

Tied for 60th place. Seems about right. Could he possibly fake another back injury and get outta dodge? :bag:

wat

The guy needs to wake up and smell the coffee. He's a middle of the road talent now. He can't just play select tourneys and think he can compete. He needs to be out there weekly with guys like Russell Henley and Gary Woodland trying to improve his game.

He's on the frontpage of CBS sportsline and ESPN Golf. They didn't get the memo that he stinks.

I'm wondering what you do when he wins (which he did 4 times last year on his way to player of the year and the money title). I'm thinking simultaneous crying and masturbating?

I know it's mostly you trying to divert your weird feelings for Tiger, but if he would've won half as many tournaments last year as he did, he still would have the most tournament wins. He was far and away the best player on tour last year.

He's been terrible at the beginning of this year. I think you'd find even he admits it, but by midseason he'll be the best player on tour again. Well, maybe I'll say second best, because of Rory's form right now. A 24 year old Rory in top form is better than a 38 year old Tiger in top form IMO.

But they did get the memo that he still generates more interest than anyone else on the tour. Maybe if you understood what drives these headlines, you wouldn't have such a hardon about them.

I laugh at you guys thinking that he's back.

I don't care to discuss Tiger or golf with you, because your trolling is far too transparent and childish. You need lessons from Joe T on how to do it with more subtlety.

I am, however, intrigued by your bizarre obsession. If you'd like I'd be happy to play online psychiatrist and we can explore these issues a little further.

Yet you're bringing up the media. At least the 'worthless stats' actually have something to do with the game that is being played.
