He gets stuck inside/underneath, flips at it and finishes the swing right of target. He's not firing his left side through. Rory or Kaymer follow through to the left of the target line. Tiger is stuck. So he doesn't release and feels it immediately and gets frustrated and doesn't finish his swing.

This is a problem for the Tour honestly. Their narrative for 15 years has been Tiger vs Jack, Tiger vs Field etc. Granted no single challenger really stepped up during his prime as a legit foil, but still, they had 15 years of increased eyeballs to go deeper with those casual fans and introduce other players into the spotlight. But they kept on banging the Tiger drum. Now they've got a problem if he's not Tigre again.

A couple more major victories by Rory, and it will be time to toss Woods to the side as old news and start the Rory vs. the field and Rory vs. Jack.

The thing that really propelled Tiger into the national spotlight was not just his early exposure as a kid, but his winning 3 straight US amateurs. Before these he was promise but you didn't know. Winning those as young as he was showed he was the real deal. Plus he won at least one in a spectacular comeback, hitting crazy shots and putts to win. He may have been behind in all three. Anyway, people knew him and expected him to be awesome before he set foot on his first course as a pro. His run was seriously amazing and I'm glad I got to watch the ride.
