What are you trying to hide Leroy? <_<True, but that is still an awful thick notebook.
I admit a past disrespect to the the great dude. What are you trying to hide Leroy? <_<
4 more will be a tall task but I wouldn't bet money on it either way. Lots ofGuys don't usually win bunches of majors after the age of 40. He still needs 5, which is a very good career for most people.
IMO, he is running out of time. I can see him winning 1 or 2 after the age of 40, but if he doesn't win 3 or so in the next 3 years, forget it.
though Honestly I think this move is what turned it around for him. It's pretty uncanny what happened to Tiger Shortly after this thread was started. Whores, injuries, divorce, fell from the top and now he's a below average golfer. He doesn't recover. Pickles is working on Tiger's address. We're sending him this thread on floppy.
This might be the perfect thread. Every week Tiger plays, one side or the other is going to bump it and we can rehash all of the same arguments.
Our guy knew the only way he makes double is if he clips that tree. So he goes way around it and slices it back. Plays it totally different if he has to make par. IMO.Probably doesn't belong in the Tiger Woods thread, but I do wonder what happens if Koepka makes that putt.
Completely agree with this. Our guy knew the only way he makes double is if he clips that tree. So he goes way around it and slices it back. Plays it totally different if he has to make par. IMO.
Update: 6thI have serious doubts with the depth of golf he ever sees an official rank above top 50 again. I am lazy but does he even have a way into the PGA this year?
I get he was playing it safe, but that 2nd shot was more miss than strategy. Our guy knew the only way he makes double is if he clips that tree. So he goes way around it and slices it back. Plays it totally different if he has to make par. IMO.
Sounds like something we need to hear more about. @gumpI'm Facebook friends with him....he just posted a pic of the inside of an ambulance. When does Tiger take to Twitter to make excuses? Tonight or tomorrow...
Evidently. But we'll welcome you with open arms if you want to join Tiger Army 2019+.I really said this in 2018?
Well in context it wasn't that bad. I mean at the time he was struggling to play in a full calendar of tournaments and his wcwr was reflecting that realityEvidently. But we'll welcome you with open arms if you want to join Tiger Army 2019+.
I think I'm starting to understand that $70k blackjack debacle.
It wasn't. It was reality at the time. Let's all just get together and celebrate the Tiger Resurgence.Well in context it wasn't that bad. I mean at the time he was struggling to play in a full calendar of tournaments and his wcwr was reflecting that reality
You might want to look up his results in the 7 or so events prior to that comment. It was a bad take.Well in context it wasn't that bad. I mean at the time he was struggling to play in a full calendar of tournaments and his wcwr was reflecting that reality
YOUR MOVEMeh, who cares. It's all about winning majors, not the ham and egger tourneys.
Not calling you out joffer.Amazing that he's never come from behind to win a major.
I think I nailed it.Tiger by far has been the most dominating athlete, maybe in history, in any sport. Might be struggling a little since his surgery by give him time, he will get his wins and his majors. I know it is impossible to compare athletes of different eras, but, there is no way that the golfers of the past played anywhere near the competitive fields that are put together today. Without question, Tiger is the best that has "ever" played the game of golf and he is nowhere near finished.
Seems odd coming from a guy who pulls for Tottenham to win... something. Here's a good one
It almost doesn't seem possible this was 6 years ago. He's just one back of Snead now. Seems almost a done deal he gets that (barring a catastrophic injury/death). I still say he has a chance at some of that old fear factor - no so much about his game but just the whole scene that takes place when it's Tiger. You have to think all the guys out there are just praying they aren't paired with him the first 2 days at the PGA.I think if he wins this week to back up the 7 shot victory at the last tourney that he may start regaining some of that fear factor. Players still talk about playing with Tiger being a different experience than they ever encounter. I don't think he ever gets back to that same level but he has a chance to get really close. What's interesting to me is to think about him winning 4-5 tourneys every year for a few more years but not getting to 18 majors. Say he gets to 100 wins total. I think you'll have those saying he couldn't close the deal in majors later in his career but my god, winning 100 tournaments would be unreal.
Ehhhh I guess. It was more to reflect the tough competition than to say "he's done". I won't lose much sleep over it.You might want to look up his results in the 7 or so events prior to that comment. It was a bad take.
Ham and egger.I mean winning the players last year should have been a really good sign.
I'm off to the range. Just finished a youtube video on playing fades and draws.
Idk about 30 but yesJack would have hit the current ball 350-370 and won 30 majors. He was hitting balata balls with wooden drivers over 300yds, 50 years ago.
You guys do realize he was playing with the same equipment every other player was using at that time, right? It's not like he was spotting the field graphite shafts and square grooves.Idk about 30 but yes
Jesus. A pro that can't hit a driver. That's pathetic. Jack would have destroyed Eldrick weekly if Woods had to use the clubs Jack played with.
FavreCo not Rivers.YOUR MOVE
*is this really Riversco? I think I have both on ignore but I thought lod was just a little crazy and not drinks his own urine crazy like Riversco
Sorry to hear you had a bad day today.Another major Sunday where I don't hear much from Tiger. Bad for golf but good for my viewing.
Nailed it.And 15Pretty sure 18 majors is safe.
If this Eldrick guy can't even win one of the warm up ham -n- egger tourneys before the majors, he is useless in this thread. It's the only way to get what is left of the nuthuggers to show up and take their 4 beatdowns per year. I think all that is left is BobbyLayne, Apple Jack and maybe sho nuff. We need to get this bum a win so they come crawling out of their caves and start talking ####.
LOL. Jack's driving average in 1968 was measured at 11 tourneys by IBM. It was 276.0 The consensus among industry professionals from having modern players hit persimmons and balatas is that the modern game has gained an average of 35 yards off the tee due to tech advantages. Give that to Jack and he'd have averaged 311. Not bad at all, but it would've been 12th last year, while when he played he was the longest driver of the golf ball by a long shot.Jack would have hit the current ball 350-370 and won 30 majors. He was hitting balata balls with wooden drivers over 300yds, 50 years ago.
Now here is a guy who could see the future.so much fail in this thread
This guy has about 100 posts I could bump but his schtick was old back then too. Back to Sinn. He's got nothing left. Epic collapse of a career. Should have gone home after round 2 and saved the embarrassment.
Tiger was out-driven on most holes today.LOL. Jack's driving average in 1968 was measured at 11 tourneys by IBM. Stop regurgitating bull####.
Winning five tournaments, winning the money title and finishing the year as the #1 golfer didn't count. You'd know that if you read the thread. He was being written off in here before 2013. In 2013 he was the best player on the tour.
Is that what you've done - retire from the boards? Where are you, Sinn?If Tiger had any class, he would just retire now.
I'm at the point when it doesn't even feel right to make fun of him anymore. It's like watching Jerry Rice with the Seahawks.
May be a little while longer. At what point does the media finally admit that he's average and stop building him up for every tournament? All week long we hear about Tiger this, Tiger that. He' s no longer the same Tiger, yet the media still makes him out to be. When do they bite the bullet and start pumping someone else, or other people? Until that happens there will be tons of people who revel in his failures. Me included. At this point the highlights still show him - even when he's redundant. It has to stop soon, right? Maybe shortly after he proves during Masters week that he's no better than average any longer?
Last year I stated (not on here, but to my friends) that he'd not win another major. Now I doubt that he'll ever win another tournament.
You hit the daily double Limp. He's become the Chicago Cubs of golf. Neither will ever win, but lots of idiots like to throw money at it so they can say they did on the off chance that it actually happens
