Question.....I know we cannot drop picks now, butt could we after the draft is complete.say within twenty four hours of the fiall pick. A couple of my picks are not as good as I was rhino ing they would be when I took them.

For future reference I can still be skipped if I'm OTC before 1pm EST.

26.22 - Waking Life - Dream Sequence

The scene from 47:19 to 53:40

Contemplated this pick earlier, but even though the whole film is pretty well one big dream sequence, I wasn’t sure how well any one scene would fit into the category, but what the heck. My first impression of the film was that the animation made me dizzy and the dialogue was nothing more than philosophical bull#### with no foothold in reality. But as the movie progressed the combination of the music, animation, surreal sequences, dialogue of interesting ideas and anecdotes, and the scattered nature of the film entranced me to the point that I was blown away as it finished. Considered several scenes from this movie (one of my faves) for monologue.

Tim, please move Billy Elliot to England Movie.

27.14 Max Pameranc as Josh Waitzkin in Searching for Bobby Fischer - Child Performance

Once again another of my favorite movies and another that has 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. This really is a performance by a child where as the Billy Elliot pick was pushing the judge's criteria. Max has to act along side some heavy hitters and holds his own. It's a quiet and patient performance.

Considered the dad for parent. I just love this movie.

ATtention: Whoever has my picks. Please go ahead with pick #29 but hold of on #30. I can't find video so might change my pick.

Currently in Tokyo on an extended layover but will pick from Singapore when I can. Thanks!

28.22 - Animal Kingdom - Shocking Scene

The 2010 Aussie film. Don't read/watch the following if you intend on watching the film:

The scene still causes me to jump even though I know it's coming. On the first watch it completely stunned me.

This movie isn't available for free online but I'm confident that, if the judge hasn't already seen it, they will enjoy it.

3 different guitarists from 3 generations of rock, with 3 contrasting rock styles get together for a documentary with revealing interviews on what inspired them as kids, their beginnings in music, what they were going for stylistically in their music, and what their music means to them.

28.17 -- It Might Get Loud, Rock & Roll.

My favorite scenes involve Jimmy Page reminiscing about his early likes.

Jack White and The Edge

Nope. Everyone is stuck with their picks. Those are the rules this time around. No mulligans.

29.14 Bull Durham – Sports Scene

I would like for this one to include the montage following but can’t find a video that contains it. Great movie.

30.12 Mike Meyers in So I Married an Axe Murderer – Multiple Roles

Head!

29 Spies Like Us - Spy Movie

Chevy Chase and Dan Akroyd in a classic. LOVE THIS MOVIE.

30 Robert DeNiro in Meet the Parents, Dramatic Actor in Comedic Role

Well I punted a category that wasn't very deep and I'm now paying the price. Having not been able to think of any movie to fill the category with for quite a while now, I resorted to internet research.

Since I haven't seen any of the movies on the list of actors that qualify, that have not been drafted yet (or wouldn't want to admit to having seen some of them at least), I didn't think it was right to just pick the biggest name left.

So as a favor to the judge. Here's an easy "1 pointer" for you:

30.06 Hillary Duff as Lizze McGuire and Isabelle Parigi (The Lizze McGuire Movie) - Actor id Multiple roles.

Unfortunately I have seen this one at least. :o

28.23 -

I had three monologues I really liked and basically flipped a coin (more than once) to pick this one.

Please move Shaun of the Dead from Long-Take to England

Long-Take

Here's another way to get Star Wars into the draft.

The section starts at 28.41 and has a few separate cuts (the full movie is linked below).

I'm choosing the scene at 29.44 to 30.43 where Randall explains about the independent contractors in Return of the Jedi

29.21 (28.05 for Tim) - Clerks - Star Wars story - Long Take

24.19

(1985) (Dance Scene)

From this fairly underrated movie about dancing defectors in the midst of the Cold War comes this scene, which starts a little slow, but ends up being a pretty awesome "duo dance" between Mikhail Baryshnikov and Gregory Hines.

Clerks is ineligible.

25.07 The Blind Side (2009) - Sandra Bullock as Leigh Anne Tuohy (Best Movie Parent)

Bullock does a nice job throughout her performance serving as a parent not only to Oher, but to her own biological children as well. Some of my favorite scenes involve Bullock's well-conveyed disgust at Tuohy's disapproving friends who don't understand her actions regarding Big Mike.

26.19

(1998) (Shocking Scene)

The scene in the police station and in the street afterwards where the adversary shows Denzel what it can do. "Beware my wrath."

Just to clarify on Clerks- someone took Jay and Silent Bob earlier, and that eliminated everyone one of the movies in which these two characters appeared. They're all listed in post # 5.

I'll take James Caan - bottle rocket. Serious in a comedy
Abe Henry: The world needs dreamers.

Future Man: Excuse me?

Abe Henry: I don' think so. You know one day your going to wake up and realize that you no longer have a brother. And you no longer have any friends. And on that day, I'm gonna be front and center laughing my ####### ### off.

Abe Henry: [laughs] John!

[continues laughing]

Abe Henry: John!

Abe Henry: I don't mean to offend you, Bob. But your brother's a #### sucker. Does that offend you?

Bob: No, that didn't offend me.

Abe Henry: Good.
